Love the PvE, crucible (pvp) can be hit or miss depending on what kind of shooters you like as your abilities and supers of course carry over. Raids and Dungeons are by far the most fun I think, work together with 6 people (3 for dungeons) to take down bosses. But yeah I'd say it's pretty fun, worth a shot for sure, granted I'm not even sure how far you can go with the free to play version.

I don't know a lot about fighting games, but I think it's fun.
I bought it a while back around late 2015, and since then there were additional characters added through DLC.
With the Definitive Edition, now all of the characters come with the game, workshop got officially added, there's a system to earn something for each character, and online got an overhaul.
It's fun, I still like to play it with my friends so I'd say it's good

From the moment the game starts, it legit feels like a whole new kind of game, especially for VR. I've been playing on an Oculus Rift S and it plays perfectly, so don't worry if you don't have an Index / the hand controllers. Exploring around is fun, fighting is fun, even just picking stuff up and throwing it around feels fun. Also just a heads up, I think you should play / at least check out the story for the the HL:2 episodes 1 and 2 before checking this out. I totally recommend it, I am currently 7 hours in and it's already been fun as hell and completely worth it. Very excited to finish it!

EDIT: I've finished the game now. Absolutely amazing. If you are on the fence, please please please try this. I wasn't the most into half life's story or anything, but after this... It's just... wow.

This is a beautiful and amazing game. I've recently 100% all of the achievements and it really is a fantastic game.

I picked this game up during the sale and I 100% recommend it. It's very simple to get into. WASD to move, m1 to shoot, and m2 to rocket jump. It's been a while since I've actually smiled during a game just becuase I was having fun. If you're considering buying this game, do it, you won't regreat it.
