This is one of those "you really just need to play it" games that I would recommend to nearly every person. It's a gorgeous looking game with a fantastic story. Stay away from 'news stories' and the spoiler-ridden reviews; this game should really be experienced with fresh eyes and your expectations left at the door. I would highly recommend using headphones for your first playthrough, it really hightens the experience the developers are aiming to give you.

Expect about a 10 hour journey; and don't be overly shocked if you find yourself wanting to do it all over again. I'd also recommend watching the developer diaries afterwards on youtube as well as the one included in the game, there's some really great stories behind the development of this game. It really gives insight into the game design & art direction choices for the game and the reasons for them.
