As you can tell by my gaming history, I have ADHD and seldom finish games. Go figure.

So on a serious note, I love to play video/computer games, reading, writing, walking, and cracking extremely inappropriate jokes at the worst times. My favorite books involve High Fantasy, Horror, Sci-Fi, and Comedy, whereas the material I write is mainly High Fantasy, or scathing Satire. I hope to be published someday, wish me luck folks!

I bought this game a few years back, knowing it was a Diablo II clone of sorts, and then like most games I bought, promptly forgot about it. Chalk it up to my ADHD, chalk it up to me having way to many game on Steam, chalk it up to college, work, girlfriend, etc etc etc. Every so often I'd see it, and make a note of playing it soon, and I even did for awhile, until my old computer crapped out, and I had to take time off from this game. Cue new DLC arriving, and having a laptop that can run the game, I purchased the DLC, and eventually got around to playing this.

The folks at Crate Entertainment delivered a game that is basically Titan Quest on some really good drugs, and that's hardly an understatement, since several former employees from Iron Lore Entertainment came to work on this game. It's basically Diablo II, but uber souped up and ready to roll out with eight different classes right now, and a ninth class on its way with yet another new DLC expansion. The game is vast and immersive, and you will get absorbed and sucked into it. Frankly the game reminds me a lot of Sacred. The plot is simple enough, the Aetherials are trying to reclaim Cairn for themselves, and you, the protagonist, are a former "Taken", who is now aiding the small hovel of Devil's Crossing in surviving. You also take on the terrible Chthonians, who are waging their own war on Cairn, and several other factions come into play.

The bonus of this game is the fact that not only can you choose two classes, like with Titan Quest, but that you can very easily respec your points cheaply, a complaint I had about Titan Quest. The controls are awesome as well, though I do recommend using a Mechanical Keyboard to switch around bindings as you wish, because relying on the mouse for your go to skill can sometimes shoot you in the foot. Heck, the worst gripe I can think of is the music, and that's only because I'll be playing for seven or eight hour stretches, and the music starts to get old. However, it is endearing music which fits each mood and region just right as well.

Got a lot of free time, no social life, and are secretly willing to call out of work every so often? Go buy Grim Dawn!!!
