There's nothing at all after we die. After all, if it's the body that produces consciousness, there's no reason to believe in any continuity of life once the body ceases to function.

The spirit isn't real, and the most we could hope for is immortality. This acceptance drastically reduces your view on life into something meaningless and worthless. Only living for your own gain to make sure you enjoy your only time here, Cherishing life is worthless if you won't be here to acknowledge it.

But you should always strive to steer away from this, and try to make sure everyone around you enjoys their temporary existence as much as possible, cause it is all we have. No matter what side you go down you must try to have integrity, loyalty, and compassion, as those memories are all that's left of you after you die.

People believe in after-lives, all to relax themselves as it's very hard to get over the fact of ceasing to exist entirely. If we had spirits, what's the need for biology? Why does the brain work separately when complete corpus callosotomy occurs? it's because we are creatures of biology. not spirituality. Our neurons can work independently of our brain. The left hemisphere of the brain is hardwired to reason actions it doesn't understand when split from the right hemisphere. There are multiple of you in your head. And you would completely believe you are fine if your brain was split into multiple sections. as the left and right hemisphere would convince each other they are still communicating.

When you die nothing is there, but it's unavoidable so you shouldn't be scared. You should just try to make yourself as comfortable as possible as there is no punishment for breaking the societal rules of morality at the end of your life. only in the living moments you are punished if caught

You should still work to maintain personal relationships as your brains condition would deteriorate without it. you shouldn't give up on everything, or you will drive yourself deeper to the brink.

Whether you choose to shorten your life or extend it, it doesn't matter. as it's all the same in the end.
