Made via financial and coercive abuse of unpaid interns. An unethical purchase - just get Terraria instead, it's an objectively better game.

It... tries, I guess. That's all I can really say for it. The elements are all there - it tries to have a personality, good puzzle gameplay, replayability, but... it just falls flat for some reason I really can't define. Who knows, maybe you'll get a better time out of it than I did, but as it is this just feels bland and uninspired.

Aggressively boring. If you want a "walk around and dodge all the bad stuff" kind of game just get Knytt or something. Heck even if you're specifically looking for something monochrome for some reason i'm sure you could do a lot better than this.

Completely and utterly ridiculous. If you can find a good server or friends to chill with and you've got some creative impulses this is an absolute laugh riot, and cheap to boot.
Though if you're a more goal driven person you may not be satisfied here, as this is simply a full-on sandbox muck about sort of game.

If you can get this without Ubisoft getting their incompetent EA-wannabe claws into it, do so. It's a really good game that has sadly had its reputation marred by Ubi's typical bumbling. Do bear in mind however, this is really more of a puzzle and skill game than the god game it looks like. If you're after a resource management style sim game you'll have to look elsewhere.

From Dust plays like a very stylized physics puzzle game and is tremendously nice to look at, to boot. Admittedly I mostly grabbed the game because it was Eric Chahi's return to gaming, and I was interested in what he had to offer. The man certainly hasn't lost his touch - while I feel the game's concept certainly could have been taken further, it does what it sets out to do pretty well.

I always saw this referred to as one of "THE" indie games on steam, like the ones that if you like indie stuff you flat out need this in your collection. Upon playing it, I totally agree with that assessment.

Very difficult, but never unfair. It has a lot of its own personality while mimicing the old ZX spectrum games perfectly, and the soundtrack is incredible. In addition it has a decent chunk of replay value due to sidequests and the like.

You'd be very hard-pressed to regret buying this, honestly.

Bland as all hell and has about as much personality as an answering machine. No thanks.

It's okay for what it is, I guess. I got a weird vibe like this game really belongs on the Dreamcast for some reason.
Not the most exciting or compelling thing ever, but worth playing on a rainy day if there's nothing else you feel like doing.

A haughty, snarky, self-satisfied deconstruction of pretentous meta-nonsense, as told through the medium of pretentious meta-nonsense.

So.... pretty much guilty of all the things it thinks it's better than, for the most part. Don't bother with this one.

It's... a civ game. If you've played one of them, you've played all of them honestly.
That said, this is a paticularly dull and unsatisfying incarnation of Civilization and i'd recommend you look at purchasing Civ 4 or Civ 5 instead, unless you really need to scratch a space-age itch.
