Isometric adventure games? You know, it's okay to admit we didn't know or have anything better back then. Or is this for the kind of folks who thought crap like Shadow of the Beast was actually good just because it looked nice?

A monster RPG that leans heavily on the old Dragon Warrior Monsters series for its inspiration, but goes entirely in its own direction. It features a system of monster traits and spells that all intertwine in different ways, resulting in a huge number of combinations of teams you can build with all sorts of different outcomes and quirks to them.

There's no shortage of different things to fight either, as there's over 700 monsters in the game to find. It's definitely worth picking up imo.

This software is absolutely fantastic and comes with a wide array of tools that make spriting much more convenient and easy. I'm astounded with just how fast I got much better results once I upgraded to this from my old software.

And for just $15! It feels like borderlike theft considering how much you're expected to pay for other art software.

Dang, a video game found a way to make climbing mechanics fun and interesting. That's an accomplishment in and of itself.

Besides that though this is great in other ways - lighthearted and fun in character, graphics are both functional and good to look at, ambient sound is alright if not too noticeable.
This is a good one to get if you're looking for the right blend of action and chill exploration.

If you're looking for Pokemon this isn't quite it, but plays more similarly to a combination of an old gameboy monster game called Dragon Warrior Monsters, with some elements of a management/building game thrown in on the side. It's actually quite a unique take on the monster battle genre and worth a look for sure, though two flaws that seem prominent is the game seems a little on the unpolished side, and also likes to bamboozle you with too much information at once to keep track of in the early game. They're fairly forgivable flaws though and you'll get a decent time out of this overall.

An excellent roguelike of the same kind as Nuclear Throne, except with a very authentic NES sort of veneer to it. The difficulty curve can be rather vicious especially where bosses are concerned, but it feels natural enough to not be frustrating, and the game has plenty of character to it that keeps it from being bland or repetitive.

It has some potential, but could have benefited from a bit more time in development.

This developer seems to churn out unfinished projects and simply leave them that way, moving onto another one a month later. The completely unfinished Drayt Empire was seemingly abandoned a month before this game was released, and this one doesn't seem to be in any better of a state.

Evidently unfinished game that hasn't been updated since 2016. Doesn't belong on the storefront in its present condition; needs a lot of work.

Not to my tastes personally, but it's good enough for what it tries to be. It could use a bit more to it since it feels repetitive quickly.
