Very good, despite the HR nightmare that is SDN. Voice acting was great, writing was generally good but just felt...very odd. Who considers themselves a "♥♥♥♥♥♥ up family" after like 2 weeks?

Then again, its superheroes and people who have gigantic mechs. Suspend thy disbelief.

An incredible game. The story is worth a replay - I think I understand it way better the second time around. The gameplay is great, though I do enjoy it on the easiest difficulty.

PARRY THIS DODGE THAT PLEASE SURVIVE, etc. etc. ad infinitum.

10/10

Better than Part 1 in terms of performance and graphics. No 10 thousand years waiting for shaders to load.

Sometimes stealth feels near impossible, especially once you get to enemies that have dogs. But thankfully combat is generally good.

People are salty (as they have been) about a certain character's passing. I don't mind, it feels realistic for the world they've made.

Most bugs and 80 percent of crash issues are gone. I still get the occasional crash but the autosave/checkpoint system is so frequent that I don't usually miss much progress.

Real great game, fun story, typical comic book level escapades. Acting's fantastic, though sometimes the writing leaves a bit to be desired. Easy enough to ignore if you take it for what it is - a fun romp through the city again.

Movement is great, flexible, and always interesting. Solid 9/10

Finally got a G29 wheel - its good without it, very beautiful, but with it the game becomes really fun.

Convoy is great! Hardly any bugs.

DLCs are always pretty, and they've updated old states too.

Well worth the buy, but some DLCs are purely cosmetic/unnecessary so only buy if you are a big fan of those products/skins/etc.

Early Access Review
Incredible! I was initially really worried when I saw the whole 'AI-powered' stuff, but it's just using AI for procedural placement. It's not generative AI that scrubs from actual artists, stealing their effort and work.

Devs seem super active, the tools are great (and getting better!), export ability is handy. It's useful if you have Foundry VTT, or use a free one like roll20.

Spent a lot of time in it already for an upcoming campaign. I think my only downside to this right now is that there aren't many VTTs that let you take advantage of the full 3D aspect of it. It looks incredible in the map maker, but then you're a bit limited when it comes to play after exporting.

Of course, a GM should do most of the description - this is only a tool. But I play with people who really thrive on a visual element, not just verbal descriptions.

That small downside notwithstanding, a great product! Get it if you enjoy map making. You can even use maps from others that have uploaded to Dungeon Alchemist!
