Impeccable, it really is a breath of fresh air to play a game that isn't siphoning money from its fans day in and day out. Just a good game that can stand on its own, and that you can tell has people who truly love what they've made behind the project. A game of this scale is obviously hard to polish but outside a few quest progression bugs and some known saving issues at launch its good and I am sure the majority of major issues will be ironed out in time. If you're on the fence get it on a sale, but this is one of the few games of 2023 that I would say is truly worth its 60 dollar price tag if you are willing to pay it, this is definitely a game that if you're interested show your support if you can pay the price, we need more games like this and less half-baked garbage and I hope this game does well so it really shows what people want to play to companies. The game is good and Larian is good even going as far as to give digital deluxe to all early access players they deserve a lot of credit for this amazing game. No extra transactions you don't need an internet connection, 60 dollars base pricing, just an honest full, fun experience without corporate suits asking you to constantly pay them for an even mediocre experience. Their continued support of this game also truly shows the love that went into making it and I appreciate that deeply.

(PS. I now eagerly wait, and cope until I will hopefully see Larian make Cyberpunk into a game like this in my lifetime.)

I waited to review this game until I was fully done with all it had, every achievement earned, every mission, every ending, every part, and I think at the end of it all it was great. In my opinion and yes it is an opinion, I feel like this game is to easy coming out of FromSoftwares catalog but not at the fault of the bosses or combat or anything like that. I feel like there is a distinct imbalance in the weapons, those who have played it will know what I mean some weapons are just so much stronger. I also saw a lot of complaints about the chapter 1 boss being impossible and even the tutorial boss being insane and so many people quitting because of them and I just want to say I feel like those people missed the point of a difficulty spike like that, it is intended to test what you have learned and your build in a meaningful way and yes its hard but they want you to try new things, plan, and try again, think smarter and overcome the challenge and I honestly would like more of that because I didn't find many roadblocks after him no matter what I used.
Having never played an Armored Core game before this even if its a bit different then the others I truly loved my time playing it, the story is a slow burn at times but I always found myself hooked at the end when the story really wants you to know this matters and I grew to really enjoy its roster of characters and personalities (shout out to V.IV Rusty he really is the best.) The game runs fine for me but I have heard its not the best optimized for many people and even running at 100+ frames constant I drop to 10 when bosses do their large aoe expansion style moves that are full of visual effects so somethings still need a little work, and I would personally love some fixes to that and a few good balance patch at some point. I would even recommend the PvP from the bit I played it was really fun and its nice seeing the creativity of other peoples mech's and their designs on them, since some parts are very strong, and some are put behind the story I understand some frustration at the online but it is story first PvP second by design. I also heard online that this game lacks flares compared to the other games and I saw enemies use them in the story, so I am honestly surprised you as the player cannot get them I feel like that would help a lot with the frustration of chip damage and just general widespread viability of just laying down a million missiles knowing one will hit, that applies to story enemies too.
Overall I can't recommend this game enough even with its flaws it was truly a joy to play and I was pleasantly surprised with how much I liked it going in completely new to the series and blind to the gameplay, I know it may seem hard for some but put in the time and you will be rewarded I promise its worth your time if you are willing to give it your attention and power through it.
