اللغة العربية يتحدث بها أكثر من 400 مليون شخص حول العالم، والكثير من اللاعبين العرب لا يستطيعون الاستمتاع بالقصة أو فهم تفاصيل اللعبة بسبب غياب الترجمة.

نأمل من المطورين إضافة اللغة العربية في التحديثات القادمة. دعم اللغة لا يقل أهمية عن أي ميزة أخرى، وهو جزء من احترام تنوع جمهور اللاعبين.

Lies of PEAK

Lies of P is the first souls-like game I’ve officially finished, so I can finally say I’ve “graduated” in this genre. I played the PC version (even though I also own it on PS5 through PS Plus) because the PC version offers an unofficial Czech translation, which helped me better understand the story and dialogues. And I have to say – it was quite a ride.

Before diving in, I consulted AI to help me decide which souls-like game to start with. This actually came after finishing Silent Hill f, which had a somewhat similar combat system and gradually pulled me into this style of gameplay.

Pros:
• Excellent atmosphere and visual style – a dark, gothic world full of detail that constantly invites exploration.
• Original ideas – especially the “lying” mechanic (truth vs. deception), which meaningfully affects the story.
• Engaging plot with twists and well-written characters.
• Epic combat – tense, rhythmic, and precise; every victory feels earned.
• Varied enemies and bosses – each with their own style, phases, and distinct design.
• Smart level design – interconnected locations, shortcuts, secrets, and a rewarding sense of discovery.
• Weapon system – mixing blades and handles opens up lots of room for experimentation.
• Music and sound design – perfectly enhance the atmosphere and boss encounters.
• The main character, P – a fascinating concept of a puppet trying to become human, with great symbolism.
• Strong technical performance and optimization – runs smoothly and looks great.
• A perfect entry point into the souls-like genre – even on the easiest difficulty, it keeps its tension, challenge, and heart.

Cons:
• Some enemies and bosses can be overly aggressive – patience and precision are key.
• Occasional spikes in difficulty might surprise newcomers.
• A few mechanics aren’t clearly explained – you learn them through trial and error.
• Exploration can feel a bit linear at times, especially in the early chapters.
• The absence of official Czech subtitles – a proper localization would make the game accessible to a wider audience in Central Europe.

Verdict:
Lies of P is a fantastic choice and a strong entry into the world of souls-like games. As my first fully completed title in the genre, it taught me patience, observation, and strategic combat. Every boss fight was a challenge, but overcoming them was incredibly satisfying.

If you’re looking for a game with atmosphere, audiovisual quality, challenge, and meaning, Lies of P won’t disappoint. It’s demanding, but every conquered obstacle feels worth it – and that’s where its power lies.

For me, it’s a solid 9/10 – a strong recommendation, an excellent experience, and proof that even outside FromSoftware, it’s possible to create a truly polished, rewarding souls-like. And this isn’t the end – there’s still the upcoming DLC, which I’m genuinely looking forward to.
