Go Imperial. Don’t get me wrong, I hate the thalmor. But by siding with ulfric you condemn yourself to a painful death the stormcloaks don’t have nearly enough power to hold Skyrim together, let alone govern it properly. And besides, the thalmor are going to war with the empire anyway, and if ulfric wasn’t so power-hungry he’d see that they’re on the same side. What good will defying the one thing that gives you support do? That’s not even mentioning the forsworn. The empire provides a stability that ulfric could never achieve. And if it wasn’t for his rebellion he’d probably be able to worship talos I’d he wanted, they didn’t enforce the law beforehand. And Skyrim’s government doesn’t see the benefits of making trade alliances with the Dunmer and Khajiit, and ulfric rule would make that ten times worse. He’s a selfish, deluded, power hungry individual who truly believes what he does is good. Go imperial.
