One of the best things about this game is being able to fortify your raft's foundations and seeing Bruce all sad cuz' he can't destroy your hard work anymore.

The ultimate "vibing with the boys" simulator.

The Loop: Starting with a plastic hook and a 2x2 board and ending with a floating mansion is pure dopamine. The progression is super satisfying—going from "I'm starving" to "I have an automatic sprinkler system" hits different.

The Vibe: It’s surprisingly chill until a shark decides your floor is a snack. The music and the ocean atmosphere are S-tier for relaxing after a long day.

Co-op: This is where the game peaks. Assigning roles (one guy hooks junk, one cooks, one explores) makes the grind feel non-existent.

The Story: Actually decent? It’s not just a sandbox; the locations you visit are unique and keep you hooked to find out what happened to the world.

The catch: The 1 point deduction is for the early-game grind and that damn shark (Bruce) being a constant menace before you get reinforced foundations.

Verdict: Absolute banger. If you have friends and a copy of this game, goodbye weekend.

I liked the story a lot, I really dug into the lore of whatever there was, and it got super interesting. My husband enjoyed the overall gameplay, not really paying attention to the story. I think there's something for everybody in this game, you'll definitely enjoy it.
