If you ever wanted a Tamagotchi but don't want to spend $30 on a screaming piece of plastic that you forget to feed every other day then this is the game for you

I find myself in the uncomfortable position of recognizing that this game is absolutely incredible, and yet still being incapable of enjoying it myself.

That being said I think whether you're a fan of the souls games or not you should definitely give this game a go.
By all accounts I should love this game and honestly I don't have anything bad to say about it really.
I guess it just be that way sometimes.

I'll be completely honest in saying when I first bought this game I was mainly interested in fanservice. Imagine my suprise when I forgot about all that completely and found myself enthralled in a legitimately good JRPG with self aware humor and engaging battles. Since then I've bought the sequels, I've gotten into the spinoffs, and I've even watched the anime. I'll say that the game can get a little stale when every area starts to look the same and all the enemies become reskins of old mobs and it can get a little grindy, but that just comes with the territory. The only real con aside from that is the fact that Nepgear isn't a part of the first game.

I give the game 5 Neps out of 5
