If you ever wanted a Tamagotchi but don't want to spend $30 on a screaming piece of plastic that you forget to feed every other day then this is the game for you

I find myself in the uncomfortable position of recognizing that this game is absolutely incredible, and yet still being incapable of enjoying it myself.

That being said I think whether you're a fan of the souls games or not you should definitely give this game a go.
By all accounts I should love this game and honestly I don't have anything bad to say about it really.
I guess it just be that way sometimes.

I'll be completely honest in saying when I first bought this game I was mainly interested in fanservice. Imagine my suprise when I forgot about all that completely and found myself enthralled in a legitimately good JRPG with self aware humor and engaging battles. Since then I've bought the sequels, I've ♥♥♥♥♥♥ into the spinoffs, and I've even watched the anime. I'll say that the game can get a little stale when every area starts to look the same and all the enemies become reskins of old mobs and it can get a little grindy, but that just comes with the territory. The only real con aside from that is the fact that Nepgear isn't a part of the first game.

I give the game 5 Neps out of 5
