Dead Space is everything a remake should strive to be. While it isn't attempting to be a 1:1 recreation of the original game it overhauls graphics and gameplay for the modern generation of games.


The asteroid turret section has been completely changed from the original. Don't worry it's actually fun now. Additionally the entire Zero-G movement system has been revamped to more closely resemble the second game.

Finally in addition to the gameplay changes there has been additional content added in the form of new side quests and collectables in NG+ mode. As well as a Impossible one life one save file difficulty challenge just like the third game, with the same reward. The only content that has been removed from the original game is the pay to win DLC suits that provided better armor than even the military suit, but thats honestly a improvement in my eyes.

It's a very good very spooky horror game. If you liked the original you'll love it. If you're looking for a new horror game it's worth giving it a shot.

Great game with friends. Friendly AI in general is completely braindead though so having people to play with is a must.

So I've made a couple of signs with this and here are my thoughts so far. After the update to Rusts painting system the app still works, HOWEVER, it creates pixelated pictures due to using the 2.0 size brush instead of the 1.0 size brush. You will need to go through manually and tell it what colours not to use as it will for some reason say black and white images have 20 colours. I don't know if it's a bug with dithering or what but it shouldn't be too difficult of a fix to implement.

If it were better at replicating smooth brush strokes or even just got the correct colours I would totally pay for this but as it stands I can't really suggest buying the pro version until these two major issues are fixed.

TL;dr cool program but it has some bugs which keep it from being great.

I wish steam had an option between yes and no because this would be it. it's terrible and it does what it says, but it's by no means great. If the devs address the above issues I'd gladly give this a positive review AND pay for the pro version but as it stands just save your money and get a rust DLC.

Great Game I've spent countless hours on it. If you like rougelikes you will enjoy it.

One of the worst games I've ever played. The game itself isn't bad but the community is more toxic than League of Legends and Rainbow Six Siege combined. Stay away at all cost in order to maintain your sanity.
