Solid game. It saves it's fines in the documents folder those so Windows Defender likes to block it. If it crashes every 10 minutes that's because it's blocking the autosave and it crashes.

Game black screened, try to save. Turns out it hadn't saved in 3 hours of gameplay. So bit of a write off tbh.

EDIT : Windows defender blocks the game from saving. Same happened with Octopath Traveler for some reason. Negative review left up though, game gets a bit samey in the lategame, DLC is overpriced.

Also Ancestral Armor was bugged on my play through. Pretty pathetic for a game with one of the biggest brand names in the world and they leave their bug fixing to the modders on Nexus.

Love it. Played it like 100 hours on mobile. All the fun of roguelikes like slay the spire but very quick, simple and snappy.

Some of the classes/modified rules set were VERY hit or miss, but I think that's kinda the nature of the beast with some of them being quite different. (Inventor 3 is like playing an entirely different game than Rogue 5). The ones I love I played dozens of time. The ones that weren't my favourite probably played until I beat it?

Honestly one of the best RPGs I've played in a long time. The depth of mechanics and variety of story is just incomparable. If you like Divinity 2 or Pillars of Eternity but wanted deeper systems and better story this is the game.

Regarding claims of "spyware" in reviews : Developer made a misstep with the EULA changes, and it happens. Especially for a smaller studio. I'm sure they had some big marketing company convince them this software will improve it's user experience so they gave it a try. When the community responded negatively, the dropped it within a week. It's nice to see a studio recognise they made a mistake, TAKE ACTION to fix it, and properly apologise. If anything it's made me trust them as a company more.

I picked the game up because I heard it had mostly decent accessibility options, but unfortunately there is a button mashing mini-game that is very tough for my fathers arthritic hands. While I enjoyed playing it myself, it was a really frustrating part of the experience for him.

I would give the game a positive review, but it's mostly seen as positive already, so I want to bring attention to this small detail that a lot of modern games are starting to address in hopes the devs might patch it.

Loved it. Story is much deeper than you might expect from a colouring game, some cool basic metroidvania mechanics. Beautiful art and music.

Game is amazing, but man are they really trying to milk it with trash DLC. Don't get deluxe, don't buy any packs. The base game is perfectly fine, and there are lots of character customisation options (though they're honestly a bit hidden with some bad UI that you unlock half way through the game with little fanfair)

Game is great, but after 2 hours of playing it just refused to save and I have been unable to get it to save and progress the game.

Don't purchase until early access is done and they release enough patches to finish their game.

Fun game. Idk anything about the negative press from before (other than that it existed). I had no problems with it. Fun. Cool story. Driving could have been a bit better.

Do not purchase this game if you have not played the other games in the series.


I had heard so much about these games and thought it would be fun to play a modern updated version. I was incorrect. Give this a skip if you're not already a fan. And if you are a fan, decent chance you still hate it. The puzzles were easy, the story was middling. The ending was very bad.

While there was some fun, it is so far up it's own ass it is not worth the trouble of getting there.
