Solid game. 2 hours for a single play through, and you'll probably want to try for all 3 endings. Definetly worth the money. Writing is great, music is decent, animations are fun and engaging. Lots of different options for play style.

Pro : It's funny, you get into the action very quickly, lots of customization options and side missions
Cons: Difficulty scaling is way off. Game is incredibly easy. From level 1 you cars are already completely obsolete, so there is no point in ever using them. The progression from there is so incredmental it's almost pointless (Ie Can jump over 10 buildings at level one, 12 at level 2 and 20 at level 4). Far away from previous saints row games (I know that's point) would have been cool if vehicles had scaled into the late game somehow. (Maybe cars that can ride up buildings or something, cars)

Early Access Review
Just got it on humble, considering it was less than $4 for 3 games it was definetly worth the pick up. First impressions are good.

Solid games. The Sims level customization is fun, super sad when you customize the heck out of a character and they die instantly. The "hard" difficulty plays easily enough, but you'll get pissed off if you play harder difficulty/ironman. Feels like you're just hoping for RNGesus to save you at that point.

EDIT : Game no longer functional because of Ubisoft Laziness

+++ Stealth Gameplay is an aweome combination of the speed and flow of Conviction, combined with the focus on stealth and getting the job done of the early games. Perfect sequal to Chaos Theory.

-- Michael Ironside is gone and Sam Fisher and the story suffer greatly because of it.

If you've loved the Splinter Cell series from the beginning and were okay with Conviction you should love Blacklist. It takes all the best features of the series and brings them home. The option to play like Conviction is there, but the game encourages you to play stealtily and passby enemies like in previous iterations.

Spies versus Mercs is awesome, though the matchmaking is a little weak so you will often end up with disproportiate skill levels in games.

Co-op is alot of fun, and while I might see you doing each level a few times, I can't see the longterm replayability sticking.

All that being said, if you were a fan of Sam Fisher you're in for a disappointment. Michael Ironside is gone, and so too goes any character. Eric Johnson has all the persnality of a potato; his talks with Sam's daughter Sarah are weird because of the age difference (or lack therof), but thankfully those talks can be skipped. The story bafflingly starts with Sam back at the NSA but with "Fourth Eschelon" for some reason. The series would have benifited greatly from Sam Fisher retiring with Ironside or maybe breifly cameoing to coach the new one.
