I want to immediately point out the best thing in this game which is the cast. I have never felt that strong attachment to fictional group of people since Persona 4 Golden. I just purely loved every character from my party because there wasn't anything to hate about them. Everyone got their time to shine and they didn't waste any second of it. I could feel a leaking chemistry from my screen whenever they were interacting with each other. I love this game just from the characters alone, but unfortunately it still has some big flaws.
Let's continue with positives, it is overall a big improvement from Remake. First up, this game doesn't hold you up that much and allows you to do whatever you like. Remake was lacking in it, but gladly Rebirth gives you bunch of stuff to do. Combat is mostly the same but with additional mechanics like special synergies with your team members, so building your perfect party gained some depth. Most of the story is quite simple but very engaging. Graphics are very well made, I just could watch on some models of characters or even environmental objects and would enjoy it a lot. Soundtrack is in fact from Final Fantasy, of course it is good.
There are some problems with this production which in fact could be big flaws to most of the people, but from my personal perspective are fine. Well most of the side content is just pure Ubisoft activites which are... clearing the map from waypoints. You are doing same stuff in every new region just to get some exp and resource to even usefull materias. If you are not a big fan of these type of side activites, you propably won't enjoy exploration here. Secondly game has a lot of minigames. Well I'm a Yakuza fan of myself so this didn't bother me for a second but I can get it why some people were tired of them.
And now serious issues. Animations during exploration are still veryyy long. This is the one thing that they didn't fixed from Remake and it still wastes player time with watching how Cloud takes away ability to control him for solid 3 seconds just for him to push a button. In one region you are getting a vehicle to get across some small dirty rivers so you can just imagine how time consuming it is to call for this vehicle, get into it, get across this river and get out of it for objective which can be just next to this river. While we are in term of exploration, sometimes controlling Chocobos can be miserable. They like to glue to the nearest interactable object and with simple turn you can just starting jumping, flying whatever this chocobo will glue to. Also they don't like doing sharp turns so whenever you meet multiple turns on your way, you will feel that you are fighting with your transport. Speaking of roads, navigating on the map can be very difficult. I don't mind multiple layers of map, but I mind whenever navigation and map doesn't tell me where exactly is objective. There are some moments that you can think that objective is in obvious on map place just to find out that it is below or above this place you wanted to check and good luck with finding a way to get there.
I really like this game, even love it if I am looking only at characters, music, world, but it still has problems that were added in Rebirth or weren't fixed from the first game. Hopefully with last game of this Remake Trilogy they will focus on improving the flaws and deliver an actual satisfying ending that I would be able to give it a perfect score. Well, see you in a few years Avalanche.

Imagine making requirement for an account that it is not available in most of the countries and forcing people by that to not play your game few months after release. Embarrassing.

I had bunch of fun with it, but actually it isn't something that special. It is great game, which offers you quite satisfying combat with some interesting story, but nothing memorable.
Story begins with some sort of amnesia for a player. Character doesn't open to you at the beginning of the game. You discover everything about protagonist while other characters get to know her. Which makes nice narrative at some point, because you discover her while everyone else do and also you learn more stuff about a place of the game while she learns it. Speaking of the place which takes in this game. It looks surprisingly very well. It is still bland office layout, but with all these mess and destructions it makes it more aesthetic to player. I haven't get bored of exploring every location for a second. Gameplay loop is pretty simple. You are just walking, in a meantime you look into for files, an enemy spotted? Kill it and maybe sometimes some easy puzzle. Very simple as I said, but without it's combat, this game would be easily boring. The combat is dynamic, you have some resources to keep in mind, but the best thing about it is the power of getting things from the ground and just launch them into enemies is very satisfying to do with also the ammount of damage it does. Also reading files is fun, especially when you will get some crazy ass theories to read for example: Smoking is a poison for the air for aliens. There is more of that kind of documents in this game. Of course you will be able to read some text that describes paranormal items, which actually you can meet some of them while exploring. This makes optional reading more rewarding than ever.
In terms of expansions, they are fine. The first one which unlocks after the main story, it has new seperated location with unique look and has fun gimmicks/mechanics. There is also expansion that connects strongly with Alan Wake and if you really want to know what happend to him, well this might be the only advantage of this DLC. Documents are giving good answers what happend after Alan Wake, but the whole main plot of this DLC? It is quite weak for me. I didn't really care about what is happening in a location I was in, which of course has still ties to Wake, but I felt that the only thing I really had fun was just reading documents.
At the end of the day, it is still great product that is very entertaining in terms of lore and with satisfying combat.

With the first minutes, I can already say that this is not the best way to experience Persona 3 for the first time. I have finished P4G and P5R as well and the feeling in the first minutes was way more different than P3P. There is no cutscenes, no exploration in 3D and dialogues are taken in only 2D format. Also this port isn't great either. Backgrounds are just upscalled and still blurry while sound effects weren't almost even touched, because they sound 1:1 from PSP speaker. This game may be good for people who has finished game already and want to play it again in different way, but for people searching for new experience, I can definitely say this is not the right verison of the game you are looking for.

This is unironically one of the greatest party games ever. It is cheap, has rollback, affordable ammount of characters, amazing art style and great soundtrack. Unique intros for specific characters make games more hyped and satisfying. Beginners and Veterans will find lots of fun in this game thanks to linking almost every move and creating combos. Maybe doing motion inputs is quite harder comparing to Strive or Rev2, but it is still satisfying to do overdrive right after your confirm a hit. Also it has quite decent single player mode, where in story, every character has their own different story and has paths leading to multiple endings. It is a clear must have to everyone who wants to play in group of friends.

After I was done with Persona 4 Golden last year, I could only dream about Persona 5 Royal port to be a thing and when I have heared this summer that they are finally porting it, I was getting prepared what to expect from this game. My expectations were high and somehow this game made to overcome them. Persona 5 Royal has become very special game and a pure masterpiece to me. With story giving you one of the best mastermind moments ever to unrepetetive build of gameplay.
While I'm not a big fan of JRPG, this game fix the most terrible thing about them, the repetetive grinding. Every main dungeon is created in their special way, that keeps you playing this game. Enviroment is different and how you are passing through them with different and easy puzzles. Also combat is being enchanced by new options like Showtimes with great animated scenes and talking to shadows. Every Boss Fight is quite very fair and doesn't require from you tons of grind to be prepared for fight (Expect for the one, which is for me one of the worst boss fights that I have ever experienced, but it is easy to forgive this game for it with later hours)
Story itself gots better with every hour. The main plot reveils itself step by step. Maybe some first plot twists are pretty easy to see, but later they are getting more unexpected. It also offers to you tons of moments where you will be laughing at some events or spending normally a day with someone or moments where you gonna cry at drastic sittuations.
Characters themselfes are a pretty downgrade comparing to P4G. They are not that much rememberable as in previous game of the series and part of them may be frustrating or shameful. But I have quite like a little bit more of their designs than in P4G.
UI got improved a lot, cause of how interactive it is, everything is animated very smoothly and unique. Same goes to Music, I love it a lot. It fits perfectly to the main plot of the game.
At the end of the day, I have still to make up with sub content that is easy to skip if you won't be interested to spend time with certain people, but if base game is already that good I just only can imagine how additional content would be good.
10/10
