Easily worth DOUBLE the amount listed. A really fun dungeon crawler - almost like a first person Metroidvania at some points, with a mix of Souls leveling. Worth the pickup at full price, easily. I recommend going in blind - this game is amazing when you have NO idea what is around the corner. Looking forward to full release/future updates. Also banger OST.

So I saw this game awhile back on a Nintendo Switch conference/show, and I thought "Hey, that looks like a fun idea". And to be honest, I was a bit worried about the game falling short of my expectations. Luckily, this game has completely shattered those fears, and is one of the best games I've played this year. If you want a slick, fast-paced puzzle/speedrunning game, then this is for you. Also has some well-written dialogue, and some cool story beats! Soundtrack is great as well. Plus, I'm just in love with the aesthetic. 9/10 (Also, at the time of writing this, I'm about 6-7 hours through and only like maybe halfway through the game?? Way longer than expected, which I'm not complaining about.)

One of the best games I've ever played. Went in blind, and I recommend that's how you should do it as well. Overall polish on the game is amazing, and OST is incredible. Well worth the money.

This game is fast. Like really fast. And nothing has made me feel anything remotely close to happiness during this quarantine except this game.

Ever wanted a game like Hotline Miami where you could slow down time, and deflect bullets with a kickass soundtrack? Here's your game. Also the story is sick. I didn't realize there were multiple paths until later on.

It's like if you were playing the Matrix, but instead of becoming aware of the Matrix to get your powers, a banana gave you powers. And that banana makes a lot of puns. 10/10.

Hyper Light Drifter. I had trouble deciding whether to buy it or not, since at the moment, I'm a little bit low on cash. Anyways, I went and bought the game after watching a bit of gameplay. Once I got into the game, the cutscene hit me, and I was playing the game.
Pros
- Great soundtrack.
- Smooth gameplay, controls feel amazing and respond quickly.
- Art and Style of the game are amazing to look at.
- Has a New Game+, so if you want more on a harder difficulty, look further no more!
- Local Co-Op. (Now, I played the game before this update, so I can't say much about it.)
-Upgrade Trees. Almost like Dark Souls and Bloodborne. Based on your play style, you upgrade certain skills to help that style. Ex: You get multiple ranged weapons throughout the game, and can choose which one to use in combat. If you prefer the shotgun, you upgrade the ammo capacity, or if you prefer the pistol, you upgrade that weapon.
Cons
- The story. Now, it is there, but it's very difficult to piece together, since the story is told through images. Not a bad thing, but if you want to have the story laid out in front of you, this isn't your game.
- Game can get hard at times, making the player salty. Then again, I'm not the best at playing games.
All in all, this game is solid. The price is ok, not the best. I'd recommend it to players who like a challenge.
8.5/10
Also, you'll get more than 3 hours out of this game. My internet was having issues while I was playing this game, so not all of the time was recorded on steam.

I found this game awhile ago, and it has been great. I love roguelikes, and this game satisfied my itch for roguelikes. Great game to play by yourself, beautiful soundtrack, and fun. It has multiplayer, but it can be kinda shaky, in terms of kicking people in your lobby at random points in the game. But, it's fun to play by yourself, and with friends it's fun as well.

Ok, so I know what some of you are thinking. "Do I really want to spend $10 on this game?" The answer to that, is yes. This game is an awesome retake of platformers. It's got a little bit of everything, puns included and a knight with a shovel. Definitely good for killing some time. 6+ hours is what it took me to done run of the game, so I'd say it's worth $10.
