if it wasn't for valve i'd probably still be using windows exclusively for games. I've probably been using linux for non-games longer than i've used windows for it at this point, but windows always stayed just because linux gaming was less feasible before. when windows 11 came out and windows 10 started nagging me to upgrade to 11 i just used that as an opportunity along with then recent improvements to wine and proton to just cut windows out entirely.
so big W for valve really.
