Beat the Hornet equivalent boss and I think this game's combat is too "poke and run" for me to really enjoy it. I actually had more fun dying to the boss while trying to get more hits in than the strategy of "wait for boss attack, hit once because try more and you're punished" that I needed to actually beat it.

Exploration is still great.

Clever and colorful, It's a lot to keep track of, but when you find that one missing piece, it all fits together beautifully.

Flying the spaceship is bad. Exploration with the spaceship is bad. Fighting with the spaceship is bad.
They had to take out all of Skyrim's exploration strengths to make it fit their space theme and you're left with all the jank and the tedium and the repetition and the repetition.

Shooting feels fine though, so if you just want to do that in space, Have at.

This is the comparable to the worst Phoenix Wright game, but still pretty good. The world and characters are excellent, and the investigation portion is great. The ending is pretty abrupt though, with the culminating trial not being nearly enough closure, or even narrative.

Learning to read a pictographic language, even one invented for a game, was an interesting puzzle and there's a story worth listening to here.

This game is the closest you can get to the quality of a 3D Mario game without just playing one of those. It has all the charm and unique levels. I was surprised throughout by all the little things that make this game great.

Mad Max has the most small, repeated annoyances out of any game I have ever played. Every time you have to interact with something, get back health or refuel your car the animation is 5 to 10 seconds longer than it should be. And you will see each of these animations hundreds, if not thousands, of times. This game's exploration and world are great, but I wish it didn't remind me every 60 seconds that watching this animation is more important than actually playing the game.

This is a game that asks something of you that almost all other games don't: quiet consideration.
This can be frustrating or it can be fulfilling. Or it can be both; it depends on your mindset you are in while you play.
I enjoyed this experience immensely.
