This is my game of the year. More than any game I've ever played, it gives you a big toolbox of interesting abilities and lets you combine them in clever ways to solve tactical problems. (It's giving me lots of ideas to mix into tabletop RPGs.)

I love games where the gameplay and story reinforce each other, and Tactical Breach Wizards does that extraordinarily well. The story is really good, and the characters are so likable. I especially enjoyed the levels that take you inside the head of each character - wouldn't it be great to have your friends appear and back you up in an anxiety dream?

This game has had an extraordinary amount of care and love put into it, and it shows. If you're sick of studios churning out half-baked crap with an expensive day-1 DLC and an apology for the bad performance, buy this game instead. It innovates, it has heart, and all of the pieces fit together.
