I've played previous Two Point games and they did not click, I wont say they were bad, but they were not for me. This one though, this one is.

Dont listen to people citing performance issues on high end devices. I have a 2070S and run it on mid settings at a locked 60 FPS. I suspect many of them are running it on the highest settings which will, ofcourse, have issues running.

I am, roughly, five hours in (left it running for 2). While I do not love the gameplay and certainly miss the exploration of the older games in the franchise, and am saddened we lost the decision trees of the past, I can and will say this: Holy crap I love the story direction so far. I love the companions I have (though the game is a bit too exposition at the start). Im so so excited to finish this game. So while the gameplay may not be the DA youre used to, the story so far has pulled me in.

Im about 4 hours in and I gotta say: The game is good. I like it so far. Im not one particularly prone to noticing framedrop, and I have a few times noticed it, but the game has totally been more than playable on my 20series card on high. But again, its not something I notice in general so YMMV.

Im not a fan of the DLC, but I want to correct the record here. Many are acting as if these items are not getable in game (appearance change in particular) They are. So while I dont like that, its not so bad.

If this was a $60 game, Id warn you. But for the asking price, if you like CRPGs, I cannot reccomend this enough. Be warned, it has its bugs, oddities, and weird systems. It in a lot of ways feels like its using some older game design- perhaps because of how much its inspired (litterally, as Pathfinder is originally) by tabletops and their design. Still, great value if you love CRPGs.

Honestly? This game is the ideal remaster, it doesnt fix many issues with the base game (judging this mostly off ME1), but it fixes the worst and many of the lesser issues. I wouldnt say it brings the graphics to a modern AAA game, nor the gameplay. But it could easilly be confused with a small studio's. If youve been wanting ME, or see the galaxy one more time- this is the best way.

I absolutely love this XCOM, while I miss the world wide steaks and mega meta the only thing I find lacking is its content. And thats not in the bad way. Its $20 and well worth what it comes with, so perhaps its incorrect to say its LACKING content and more me wanting more because of how good it is.

And finally... the numbers feel accurate. 10/10
