Two Point Museum is a business simulator management game that I am addicted to. It's also perfect for those who like to keep things organized while putting their creative ideas into a museum.

The gameplay alone is more than enough to sell this game, as there is a lot of content that Two Point Studios offers that you can unlock just by investing your time and effort into this game.

Although the character animations remind me of many classic stop-motion clay animations, this game has a unique charm that many recent games lack. The graphics also complement the unique idea that Two Point Studios wants to bring into the world of Two Point County.

In the end, one will realize that Two Point Museum is a game that will make you spend hours just designing the ideal museum that visitors can enjoy, which can end up being played for hundreds of hours with a high replayability factor.

It's a bit more finnicky than the previous games (item placement is more important now), but also the first game that dares to shake up the concept of "rooms". In addition to the usual staff rooms, toilets and such the emphasis is now on the hallways I guess you could say. Being that the hallways are where the exhibits take place.
So instead of designing a building with rooms and long hallways like the previous games, you now place the specialised rooms a bit off to the side, and reserve the large areas for decorations, tours, dividers and exhibits. It takes a bit getting used to, but it's quite nice designing a museum with an optimized walking path.

And it's a joy watching the little people roaming around with all their signature shenanigans. Of course they have to all touch everything and so on. It's lovely! The TP DNA is intact.

Well, mostly. I do feel like the radio stations and announcements feel a bit rushed this time around. They don't make me chuckly as much as the previous games. Which is a shame, as that part was really important for the overall atmosphere. It's not terrible by any means, but the puns do fall a bit flat.

Now add in the metagame of the expeditions. This is kind of where I feel the game is lacking a bit. Basically all of your exhibits need to be acquired from going on expeditions / digs. And they need special qualifications and such to be viable and succeed. There will be some dilemmas you have to take care of during the trip, but mostly they take place as a simple progress bar which will end with a box being dropped off that you can open. Yes, the game has loot boxes, quite literally. :D I kind of like that. But the concept of the expeditions do seem a bit too whimsical and nonsensical. You start with a location and have to expand from there to other environments and climates. It works. That part of the game just feels a bit dull, and mostly I just click through it quickly to get it going, not really paying attention to what's going on. It can definitely be improved.

But most of all the game is just fun and cozy to play. And that's pretty much what I want from a Two Point game. And it's different enough that I want to keep playing.
