What's New
Bigger prizes. More games. Epic loot. This time around, we'll not only be handing out prizes for second place, but third and fourth as well! It won't be that easy, though: the tournament format will be double elimination, meaning the climb to the top will be much tougher than before.

Prizes

• 1st place: 15 keys, variety of winners' choosing
  
• 2nd place: 5 keys, miscellaneous variety
  
• 3rd/4th place: Rare/Uncommon TI3 Secret Shop tagged items (1 per player)

Introducing the Dual Stream
With a double elimination format, we'll have to cast twice as many games. The solution for our time constraints? Dual streaming. We'll be using two twitch channels, SiGDotaRed[www.twitch.tv] and SiGDotaBlue[www.twitch.tv], each run by two casters, to simultaneously cast upper and lower bracket matches to make sure you can see all the action.

Signing up for Season 3
Team registration for Season 3 will open immediately. Check the group forums for the registration thread and make a post listing your team's name, roster, and up to 2 alternates (listed alternates will not count toward your stand-in limit if used as a substitute for another rostered player). You may also include a preference for the time of your initial match.

Please review the brackets here[i.imgur.com] to see the check-in time for your match. The time and date listed for each match is the time by which your team captain MUST check in without receiving a penalty.

In order to check in for your match, your team's captain must leave a message in this Steam group's group chat stating that your team is ready to play. Regardless of whether the previous match is still in progress or if we are off-schedule, you must check in on time. Tournament admins will ensure your check-in time is recorded by the timestamp on the message.

A reserve time penalty will be applied to teams who arrive 5 minutes late or more for check-in, with the penalty increasing by one level for each additional 5 minutes late your team is. Being more than 20 minutes late for check-in will result in your team's disqualification.

Oh, and by the way, thanks for participating in the Singularity Gaming Dota 2 League! This is our second tournament ever, and I'm glad to have such great members of the community participating in this event. I've talked to several of you guys personally whether to resolve scheduling issues or just discuss the tournament in general, and you're all great people who share a common love for Dota. Good luck on Friday: with fierce competition like this, you'll all need it. ;)
