Now that we've got 5 members in our little quake2 coop group I'd like to promote you guys to admins, so everyone can schedule games and stuff. Steam is being a little twitchy about this right now but as soon as it lets me I'll promote you all.

With my new son It will be hard for me to organize as much as I'd like. I'm looking forward to participating in as many events as I can. :)

I've had great success using EGL http://egl.quakedev.com/ in conjunction with my steam copy of quake2 to play co-op or die. Its much harder to get it working with the steam executable, and EGL adds lots of pretty effects to quake2 I really enjoy.
note: R1Q2 is not compatible with coopordie.
