ABOUT >MuppKlubben<

MuppKlubben

MuppKlubben (MK) was founded in 2008 as a Swedish Call Of Duty 4 clan by Gustav "Zaiyre" Gröt with 3 friends of his. The original line-up of MuppKlubben consisted of Zaiyre, Kirremek, Zibirth and Hevseb. The original naming of the organization originated from the members of MK being constantly unserious and sarcastic. Eventually, Zaiyre adopted this into a clan, thus becoming "MuppKlubben". Since then, the organization began using their abbreviation more often in other games such as Modern Warfare 2, League of Legends, and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

In the summer of 2010, one of MuppKlubben's veterans, Zibrith, announced his departure from the team as he retired from e-Sports. Therefore, MuppKlubben faced rough times as they struggled with finding a player to fill Zibrith's spot in the team, which put an end in MuppKlubben's journey, as the players lost motivation to continue with CoD:MW2.

Only a couple of months after the disbandment of the MW2 Division, MuppKlubben's foray into the League of Legends scene began, as Kirremek introduced two new additions to the team, Krikon and Broddan, who would complete the rooster with Kirremek, Zaiyre and Hevseb. MuppKlubben immediately began to harvest wins against the top teams such as SK and Fnatic, but still didn't manage to secure any wins in any of the larger tournaments during 2010-2011.

In 2012, The team managed to win the Deamhack Summer 2012 Qualifier. Which would reserve them a spot in the Dreamhack Summer 2012 LAN Tournament in Jönköping, Sweden. The teams travel to Jönköping was a huge success as the team ended up winning the event final with a 3:0 win versus CLG.

In Late 2012, MuppKlubben faced hard times. The MK.LoL Division was put down to sleep when Kirremek lost motivation for the game and decided to step over to Counter-Strike. Eventually, the rest of the team would retire from the League of Legends scene, one by one.

Whilst MK.LoL was put down to sleep, MK.cs opened up searching for players to complete the rooster with Kirremek. A couple of weeks later, Broddan and Krikon joined up with Kirremek. During January-February of 2013, MuppKlubben used Hevseb, Zibrith and Zaiyre as stand-in players as they didn't want to commit fully to Counter-Strike.

In February 2013, 1 month after the creation of the MK.cs Division, MuppKlubben welcomed two new players to the team, Kofot and ButtBuster, to complete the roster with Kirremek, Krikon and Broddan. But it didn't take long until MuppKlubben faced hard times again, when Broddan decided to step down to the substitute position for the team due to time constraint. MuppKlubben was once again left with an incomplete team.

It only took a few days before MuppKlubben found a tryout for their team, KulleBulle, who would replace Broddan's position in the game. KulleBulle was accepted as a member of MuppKlubben only a week after...
