Suggestion:

- Try to make it so that the AI's divisions are influenced by their doctrine of choice. For example, Mass Assault would have bigger infantry since they take up less combat width, or for SF, divisions having more arty than other doctrines.

- AI using tank variants such as Tank Destroyers

Would Like to do that, but that sections is largely unmoddable and doing anything to it will crush the compatibility of this mod (But I exepct some new changes with the Arms Against Tyranny DLC, so stay tuned for next week)

Suggestion:

From my experience, I would like to suggest some additional AI templates, that to this day no AI managed to defeat me with.

Here's how I make templates:

Early Infantry:
12w (6x infantry) - for garrisons, coastal defense and filling the gaps in frontlines.

21w (9x infantry, 1x artillery + eng, rec, AA) - attack divisions.

Early Motorized:
20w (7x vehicle, 2x mot. artillery + eng, mot. rec, mai, log, AA) - attack divisions.

Early Special Units:
Same as Early Motorized, except instead of vehicles, there are either marines or mountaineers.

Early Armored:
3x lig. tank, 4/5x vehicle, 2x mot. artillery + eng, mot. rec, mai, log, AA - if possible I upgrade to 5x tank 5x vehicle and 2x mot. artillery with support companies, then I might add 1x AT mot. battalion, same goes for medium and heavy tanks.



Mid Infantry:
27w (9x infantry, 3x artillery + eng, mot. rec, mai, log, AA) - for attacking purposes, I might also add 1x AT battalion.

Late Infantry:
40w (14x infantry, 4x artillery, 2x AT, 2x AA + eng, mot. rec OR tank rec, mai, log, hospital).

Late Motorized:
Same as Late Infantry (except instead of infantry is a vehicle).

Late Special Units:
Same as Late Infantry (except instead of infantry is a special unit).

Late Armored:
I upgrade to 40w with mot. artillery, AT and AA, I add more tank and vehicle battalions.

I generally don't use mechanized infantry, rocket artillery and ambitious vehicles. For rocket vehicle, I tend to add one to the armored template, based on the fact, that it fits the combat width.

I like your mid infanterie, I think we'll addapt it as our heavy infantry to attack along with early infantry to hold the line

I think Mid Infantry is already used by AI. Perhaps a small modification would be enough. Instead of 27w, it would be better to make it to 28w by adding one AA battalion and changing support AA to the field hospital.

I believe 40w infantry would be a game changer, but it's up to you to consider and implement what you like.

Hi! Mb it is issue:
The bot does not use modern tanks and modernized / improved ones before a certain time. For example, if you open all tanks through the console, the Reich in 1936-1939 will produce only a basic medium tank

how about we reduce the number of possible battalions in divisions? everyone will play with near-historical divisions ?)
