Some balance thoughts
Although the mod is really great, I feel like it fails in some balancing aspect, mainly in the Empire Specialization part.

The first problem is with the AP Esteemed Trophies. On its own it's probably alright, but with any mods that adds relics, you end up with so many you can easily get a +3k unity/month with the perk alone. It should have a limit on how much it can give, like 1k top maybe ?

The second problem is the diplomacy weight bonuses you can get. I think there's just too many of them and that they're also too powerful. The specialization and perks already give you huge bonuses that will indirectly help you with your diplomatic weight by making you more powerful.
The problem is, with the added diplomatic weight bonuses, I feel you become too diplomatically powerful too soon, and the AI cannot catch up. By 2320/2330, you can quite easily rack up around a million diplomatic weight while the reste of the galaxy is stuck at 20/25k at best.
Meaning soon after the formation of the galactic community, you can have yourself elected Galactic Emperor with your diplomatic weight alone and no favors needed.

A 5% to 10% increase by bonus would be largely enough I think.

Anyone may feel free to add their thoughts about the balance to this post, I myself will add more if I think there's the need for it.

In any case, keep up the great work.

Thank you, and yes, I'm sure there's a lot of balance to do.

Creating new content is already a full time job, so I mostly do balance pass when I play a campaign (my last campaign was before Cosmic Storms).
So thank you for your constructive feedback.

For the Relics bonuses, I would have said "balance your mods" but now, even vanilla with all DLC has so many. So I decided to logarithmically lower the values

Maths, value gained per Relic :
-First relic: 1/(1+(1−1)×0.1)=11/(1+(1−1)×0.1)=1, so 250×1=250250×1=250 Unity.
-Second relic: 1/(1+(2−1)×0.1)=1/1.11/(1+(2−1)×0.1)=1/1.1, so 250×0.91=227.27250×0.91=227.27 Unity.
-Fifth relic: 1/(1+(5−1)×0.1)=1/1.41/(1+(5−1)×0.1)=1/1.4, so 250×0.714=178.57250×0.714=178.57 Unity.
-Tenth relic: 1/(1+(10−1)×0.1)=1/1.91/(1+(10−1)×0.1)=1/1.9, so 250×0.526=131.58250×0.526=131.58 Unity.

For the diplomacy bonuses, I agree, there're a lot of them - but note that the AI can also gain any of those bonuses; we're just way better/smarter than AI after-all.

Balance path is live.

Oh, good idea to go for a lower value for each relic you take, didn't think of that.

As for the diplo weight, the problem is indeed mostly that the AI isn't smart enough to stack the bonuses properly.

I'll try out the patch with a new campaign and tell you what I think, but it sounds pretty good!
