Traditionless AP is utterly broken af
I love your mod, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hell, "Traditionless" is the most frustratingly headbanging ♥♥♥♥♥ to play into and one of the AI take it every single game, and I literally want to scream. lol

Even on the easiest of difficulties, they balloon out of control incredibly fast, and they start stacking bonuses like a mf'ing min-maxer, and I just give up because it's not even worth trying to deal with.

Granted, it doesn't help that I have a bunch of other mods that also change to the game significantly, which SOMEHOW THE AI IS FIGURING OUT HOW TO USE PERFECTLY, lmao, but yeah, that's my only real criticism.

I don't know how you would even deal with that, as it would be dumb to ask you to take it out, but if you do ever come up with a solution I'd thank you from the bottom of my heart, as I'm quitting my 3rd game in a row in 5 days because of this, lmao

For now, I think I'm just going to use the console to nuke any AI player that takes it on game start out of principle.

And to anyone who things I'm a wimp... nah, just too lazy to play my heart out every single game to just deal with this one stinking AP. I enjoy this game, but not enough to channel Florry. I'll leave the competitive domination of Paradox games to the true devotees.

I reduced the chances for it to be taken by the AI, tell me if it feels different / better.

I will as soon as 3.10 is playable. Too many bugs to really mess around with mods. Giving it another couple of weeks before I dive back in.

same promlem here. love the variety the mod brings. had a couple experiences where an ai got traditionless. a while ago in one run where i stood no chance, like at all. another after that where i saw an ai had it, immediatly dumped that campaign. deactivated the mod because of how frustrating it became to just auto lose when an ai got the perk. gave it a shot again in my last run. ai got it again. pulled every trick up my sleve to stay at least close to its power. one time in that run i got close to reaching its diploweight. 100k/120k then it went to straight to 460k in like a year or two, dumped the campaign again and deactivated the mod once more. otherwise great work tho.

Never had such a problem, but here's your fix, enjoy :

QoL :
- Added an option in Ascension Perks: Disable the Tradition Zenith AP for the AI

Note: Won't work retroactively, if thay have the AP, it's too late.

good sir, first of all thanks for the quick reply.

i looked a bit more into it. the desription for the traditionless civic says after 10 years you get 10 % of the max ac slots. with mods that can be a lot. with my setting that would be 9 slots. furthermore, if im getting it right it should stop after 7 slots unlocked and swith to unlocking civics. i loaded an older save from my last run to see what happens after each 10 year mark. first of all after 40 years the other empire had 44 slots unlocked and after the 50 year mark it got another 9. thats where the power stems from, i think. i dont know if that is intentional.

ok, I found a problem.
UI Overhaul Dynamic - Ascension Slots has been updated, so I have to update my side too.
Wiirlak  [developer] 16 May, 2024 @ 3:41am
Fix :
- The Traditionless Civic has been updated to NOT count the AP gained from UI Overhaul Dynamic - Ascension Slots.
-- I was able to get it to work witht the updated version, but it was unbearable to gain up to 9 AP at a time.
-- So, I tried limiting it to 3, was good actually: 3 AP per 10 years.
-- But then, I realize they could still take the tech, and I don't want to overwrite it - nor try to play with the var that's running it, so it will be 7 AP in 70 years, then civics. Gain more AP by taking the tech like everyone else.

Could not thank you enough! Great work and impressively quick. Sent some coffee your way as a token of gratitude. :)
