Mod/Map (In-)Compatibilities
Save Our Station is compatible with a lot of mods & Knox Country expansion Maps.

That said, please be aware that we don't have the time to check every map for incompatibilities, so please don't expect us to check for you if its a map already listed in here or a map whose cells are listed below.

By making this list, we encourage users to check compatibilities themselves, and report any incompatibilities not listed here to us.
We have provided the Map Cells at the bottom of this Post to help in this regard.

NOT-Compatible Maps & Mods
Below is a list of maps that were either reported by the community and/or confirmed by us to NOT work (most likely due to Map Cell conflicts or Radio Hijacking):
  • CatsVille Map (Riverside Expansion)
  • Dirkerdam
  • Medieval Zomboid - Map by Woldren
  • Rosewood Cabins
  • Rosewood Mall
  • Rosewood Military Hospital
  • The Walking Dead Project - Tavern
  • Toxic Fog -> breaks AEBS/Radio
  • Westwood
Note: You may be able to make a few of them work by adjusting the Map Load Order so Save our Station's areas are loaded first, but this may cause the stations or specific map areas to look out of place, especially if the cells are vastly differently when compared to vanilla.

That being said, we would still advise against using these Map Mods when creating a world with Save our Station, as any issues caused by missing locations can & will not be supported by us.

If you know or discover any Maps that are incompatible and are not listed above, please report them so we can extend this list. Thank you!

We likely will not expand this specific list due to the amount of entries already present - generally, assume that a map is compatible, unless present in the "NOT-Compatible" list. That being said, always check the Map/Mod's respective page & comments too!




Mod Compatibilities
The mods listed below have been checked and are confirmed to work alongside (or with) Save Our Station:
  • 10 Years Later ⇨ Scroll down for information.
  • 28 Days Later
  • Barricaded World
  • Change Sandbox Options (by Star) ⇨ Allows configuring SoS in-game!
  • Expanded Helicopter Events ⇨ AEBS faults/interruptions affect EHE's Air Traffic alerts!
  • (Unconfirmed) The Darkness Is Coming ⇨ Has a patch, apparently makes AEBS faults/interruptions affect TDiC alerts?
  • (Partial) Vanilla Vehicles Enhancer ⇨ Whilst vehicles don't use VVE's models, they aren't explicitly incompatible.
Note: We do not currently know how compatible Save Our Station is with mods that modify/hijack/alter the AEBS Radio System, so please let us know if anything comes up.




10 Years Later & Special Compatibility:
"10 Years Later" (10YL) provides their own version of our "Knox Country" weather stations to use instead of ours. For this to work correctly, you need to ensure the correct Mod/Map load order (We recommend using Mod Manager for this):
  • Save Our Station - Core
  • 10 Years Later - Low/Med/High Vegetation (Optional)
  • 10 Years Later - Kingsmouth, Raven Creek, etc. (Optional)
  • 10 Years Later - Save Our Station
  • 10 Years Later - Vehicle Spawnrates (Optional)
  • 10 Years Later - MAPS (Optional)
  • Save Our Station - Knox Country

Thanks for the heads-up - I just checked the page, and yeah, it does look like it takes up the area of the Riverside station (the fields just beyond the river corner). Looks like the Dev mentions SoS Incompatibility in the comments aswell.

Gonna add it to the list, thanks for reporting :)

I saw that in the " NOT-Compatible Maps & Mods " SecretZ is NOT compatible with this mod. but from my point of view and looking at the map of what SecretZ Pandemic adds in the game, it should have no problem with compatible with this mod

I'm saying this just because from what I now.

SecretZ Pandemic adds only stuff about military. Like checkpoints, military camp's , evac and blockade. and from what i see on the map ( + from what I know )

I do NOT see any problems with both mods ( Like problems about custom building locations etc. )

Because I plan to make a modpack to play with my friends like how we used to play modpacks on minecraft and I really like both mods.

EDIT : I don't know anything about SecretZ, and have no idea about " SecretZ (and any variation of it that changes the affected map cells) "

Hmm, it looks like the developer recently made a change to make SecretZ Core V2 (which is a part of Pandemic) compatible with Save Our Station.

You should be okay to use it now, if you use the SecretZ Core V2 that included in Pandemic.

Hey there! It seems Coryerdon has been updated in the past half year and has removed the conflicting cells, so SOS and Coryerdon seem to be compatible now!

Heya - I see the last update to it was in September, which was before I added it to the list.

The conflict was the Cell with the Bridge at Riverside (which conflicted with the station, due to the cell going ever so slightly to the left of the river), and from the images still attached to the workshop page of Coryerdon, thats still there.

Just to confirm, are you sure you didn't potentially change the map load order to where SOS overwrote the cell?

Okay I apologize in advance if I am somehow missing something (and for my late reply), but from my testing with priority I was able to reproduce both mods working in tandem whether coryedon was above or below priority of SOS. I do not see any conflicts based on the cells, but if there is something I am missing, please feel free to let me know and I will apologize for wasting your time, but here are some photos of the test: https://imgur.com/a/JIzn0vz

Hey there, thanks for checking that, its appreciated.

It seems like they might've moved the cell down at some point and not updated the original images & cells listed in the workshop page prior to me adding it to the incompatibles list, as that had the bridge in the cell "above" where the bridge is for you now, hence the conflict.

I should note - I rarety actually test the maps if their description lists the same cells (or a comment/discussion does), so this is good news, as its a lot of effort.

Going to update the list now, so again thank you for questioning and confirming this ^^

No problem! I'm simply happy to help and completely understand why you don't go through that extra effort (it shouldn't be expected of you anyway!). It has been two weeks since I wrote the original comment but I had commented due to what I had read at the time and seen in my testing, I'm just happy to help.

...not to be "that guy", but you did read the post, right? The part in "Mod Compatibilies" where Expanded Helicopter Events is directly mentioned?
