Suggestions!
What the title says I guess?

I'm a noob at this so if your idea is too absurd I'll probably reply with a no, but we'll see.

An extra corrupted Broadsword made from LOTS of tentacle cluster and maybe a drop from the ruin??? it would have bigger hit combo and spawn random ruin minions (that fight for you of course) on the slash attack

I'm working on something like that, it's a bit tough on my end but i'll see what i can do

I'd recommend a different name for the upgraded sword, honestly. Protector's Broadsword at least denoted that it was the weapon of the Protectorate, since your job in the game is being a Protector. Faithkeeper makes me think it's supposed to be from some other faction... in a medieval fantasy.

Also recommending you give us back the original predecessor mods for this so players can pick and choose. >.>

For the sword name, I guess I'll work on that.

As for the later, no, I won't do that. Sorry but I've ended support for those old mods.

Maybe you should put the same spec as the faithkeeper's but instead of a wave, just use some tentacles spawning in a straight line

Oh dear, i know how i can make it happen, but it requires a lot of projectile voodoo magik
Raf-raf♀ 4 SEP 2018 a las 9:32 p. m.
that'd be cool if it's like the ruin's attack (the one that burrows underground)
High Roller  [desarrollador] 4 SEP 2018 a las 9:33 p. m.
Maybe, but that would be really time consuming on my part, i'll have to ask for help on this one :/

we can wait for it no need to rush (also it's just like the title says Suggestions only)

Firstly... I'd likely to suggest perhaps taking a closer look at the blade spriting. When you have the weapons charged up, one side of the weapon's blade is not even with the other which looks admittedly kind of odd. I do realize that it is a actual thing with the normal protectorate broadsword but... it just looks 'wrong' from my opinion and it is such a minor detail.

Secondly, with the ruin sword, I would honestly suggest turning the eye so that the black eye slit is going from handle to blade rather than horizontal as you currently have it, as it looks admittedly kind of odd. Maybe take some inspiration from the design of the NPC cultist broadsword ( use /spawnitem npccultistbroadsword so you can see it... can also check the shortsword by /spawnitem npccultistshortsword if you decide later to make one handed variants). In this same note, I would recommend changing the blade colour when not charged of the ruin one to take after the more 'yellowed' metal variant you can find of the cultist short sword as pristine grey, blued or light metal doesn't give the impression of a corrupt weapon.

Thirdly, I'll agree that 'faithkeeper' sounds a bit wrong. Given the nature that you are working for the protectorate who are on the side of the creator, perhaps naming it 'creator broadsword' would be more thematically appropriate.

Lastly... for the regards of the two new sword's capabilities, you could make the upgraded protectorate sword unleash a wave that on impact causes continual damage over time for a brief period. For the ruin sword, may I suggest a effect similar to what the ruin uses against you in the final boss fight. Use a variant of the Asuterosaberu DX's tear that launches projectiles that can 'corrupt' what they hit, changing them into something befitting the ruin if they 'die' to the attack.

You are most welcome. I want to see this sort of mod thrive as there is a sad lack of real 'neat weapons' for that end game and the ruin despite being the big bad needs some love too.
el_dude_meister 9 OCT 2018 a las 4:34 p. m.
Could you make this sword compatible with aimable broadswords? That would make this mod perfect for me. I know your hands are full, so take your time
Raf-raf♀ 9 OCT 2018 a las 4:40 p. m.
Maybe the other one too (the van)
Roval_Jax 18 OCT 2018 a las 7:12 a. m.
I suggest another variant of the protector's broadsword in the protectorate theme (Hopebringer? Destiny's Preserverance?) if possible. You can also take this as an excuse to bring back the preserver's broadsword albeit reworked sprite and/or animation wise.
