of course, that was the whole reason i made the mod, but as it says if you read it, it has no enchant, and you can craft it with smithing, giving different levels of damage, i enjoyed the model, and it fits with a paladin type character.

omg this sword exists already from meridia (daedra) it's just copied with other name ._.
EarthlyEquinox 31 Dec, 2014 @ 12:16am
ohhh, sorry!!! i feel kind of bad now, haha no i really do, i did not download the mod just looked i should not do that next time. guess this was a lesson learned
Solgath  [author] 30 Dec, 2014 @ 11:07pm
not a retexture, its the same sword, without the enchant, and has differnet levels of damage you can craft.
EarthlyEquinox 30 Dec, 2014 @ 9:53pm
retexture of a vanilla sword right

i never really noticed that it boosts smithing, due to the fact that i don't use the default skyrim system anymore, not entirely sure if i can change it or not, i use the skyrim XP mod these days..
Blueski 29 Dec, 2014 @ 2:23pm
This just boosts my smithing really high when I make the dwarven one. Is there any way to prevent this or am I SOL and this is how the game is supposed to function?
bard 21 Dec, 2014 @ 12:26pm
I suppose you're right.
Solgath  [author] 21 Dec, 2014 @ 12:04pm
well if you follow the lore in terms of a "good" daedric prince Meridia is classed as one, and His/Her quest to rid the world of Tamriel of undead/evil is right up the paladins alley, so for lore purposes the Dawnbreaker would be the perfect weapon for a Tamriel paladin.
bard 21 Dec, 2014 @ 9:31am
Lets be real here,a paladin is the purest of warriors, so in that case he would NOT have a Daedric blade.
Solgath  [author] 15 Dec, 2014 @ 7:52pm
my version of the dawnbreaker isn't OP so far as i know, i just made it craftable at all lvls of smithing, so that people could make a paladin themed character.
Talyn Firelock 15 Dec, 2014 @ 11:05am
I like OP blades, and that dawnbreaker look
Solgath  [author] 12 Dec, 2014 @ 11:23pm
your welcome, i'm hoping to expand my ability i making items and design a true paladins blade :D
seanmalone123 12 Dec, 2014 @ 7:15pm
thank you my lord, now i am on my way to bieng a true paladin
Samual.Webber95 8 Feb, 2014 @ 4:19am
Gotcha. No prob, maybe you could refer it to someone you know who might be able to do it.
Solgath  [author] 8 Feb, 2014 @ 1:53am
my ability to make weapons is lacking, to make what i got here i had to use what was there, i would make it if could lol
Samual.Webber95 7 Feb, 2014 @ 9:27pm
Can you make this by chance? Your obviously a Bleach Fan. So you'd enjoy these too.

little more fine tuning of base damage, hopefully now they are not to over powered :P
Solgath  [author] 26 Aug, 2012 @ 4:48pm
latest version, i've tweaked the damage a bit, felt the weapons base damage was way to over powered, now they are a little more powerful than the basic sword you can make from that specific smithing tree, EG: Iron sword Damage 9, Novice Paladin's Blade damage 11, and so on.
Solgath  [author] 11 Aug, 2012 @ 11:06pm
added some new pics to, one of the novice version tempered, and the daedric version tempered
Solgath  [author] 11 Aug, 2012 @ 10:56pm
i should also add, for some reason, the novice version which uses iron to be improved, won't go past flawless, but i think its fine that way, when u'll be making the other versions anyway
Solgath  [author] 11 Aug, 2012 @ 10:52pm
ok, new version is up, u can make different levels of what i have Dubbed Paladin's Blade, each version is more powerful than its younger version, and they appear in the smithing list as u gain the perks, however as the concept of a paladin is heavy armor in my eyes, you have to go the heavy armor route to get them. i'm open to other ideas on what i can do for this mod, however i'm still new to this whole thing.
General Sherman 11 Aug, 2012 @ 9:40pm
sorry i thought it was already done, didnt read enough i guess. Sounds really good, as i was disappointed in the general crappiness of dawnbreaker, excited to see what you come up with.
Solgath  [author] 11 Aug, 2012 @ 9:12pm
once i've finished the mod and tested it myself i'll upload it, and see about adding pictures, its a slow process, got a little more to do yet, but i should have it out soonish
General Sherman 11 Aug, 2012 @ 5:08pm
Pictures would be nice
Solgath  [author] 25 Jul, 2012 @ 10:56pm
i've decide for now to add new lvls of the sword to the blacksmithing table, 1 new blade for each level in blacksmithing, starting at iron, and up to daedric, so, once its finished i'll update the mod here, then i might look at making an enchanted version of the sword.
Jannus 25 Jul, 2012 @ 10:23pm
idea there is a mod chrysamere the paladins blade i dont know how to spell chrysamere that floating evil model that blackens and goes into your inventory like the wabbajack but it has 50000 health and the blade has 3x as much damage as a daedric greatsword plus it weighs as much as a potion a value of 250000 gold and it glows like it has a fire enchant but it doesnt
Solgath  [author] 25 Jul, 2012 @ 7:06pm
ok so, i'm looking at making a paladin theme char for my next playthrough, and so i'm looking at updating this sword, i'm open to ideas on what to do with it, but keep in mind i'm pretty new to this whole "make your own mod" thing, i'm thinking a enchanted version, or maybe something like a lvling version of the sword? i dunno, lay ur ideas on me and i'll see what i can do.
Jannus 12 Jul, 2012 @ 12:10am
yeah the mod unless it is just on pc that you can do that i know i watched someone on youtube x box and they could not do that

Solgath  [author] 12 Jul, 2012 @ 12:05am
beats me, i do know that with a mod i picked up i could disenchant silver weapons and learn the enchant, and place it on other items, may have been an effect of the mod i had
Jannus 11 Jul, 2012 @ 11:04pm
no your wrong i made a silver greatsword undead effect and overpowered fire effect it just does not show the fire effect on item out of when choosing it
Solgath  [author] 11 Jul, 2012 @ 10:45pm
hmm, i think silver weapons still count as an enchant, i mean u could get the mods that increase the amount of enchants u can put on a weapon/armor, and the mod that lets pretty much learn every enchant out there, then u could take my mod of the basic dawnbreaker and go nuts
Jannus 11 Jul, 2012 @ 10:36pm
sweet undead thing i thought would be nice cuz silver weapons and because of them being effective to undead and enchantable
Solgath  [author] 11 Jul, 2012 @ 10:31pm
i'd do this, but all that i can do is make a basic enchantable version, eg normal dawnbreaker with nothing on it, just the appearance with some decent damage...
Jannus 11 Jul, 2012 @ 12:05pm
how about a pure black dawnbreaker effective to undead but still enchantable steel plate armor helm boots and gauntlets maybe unenchanted because i love enchanting my own stuff but a suit with recommended enchants in a chest right next to it
Solgath  [author] 19 Feb, 2012 @ 7:49pm
well unfortunatly my skill in modding the actual appearance is very lacking, this is my very first mod i've done that been released ever, i will try to see what i can do, but any help is welcome
Whispelle 15 Feb, 2012 @ 2:26pm
i would like a black dawbreaker sword with a red light. that would be kool
King Lore 12 Feb, 2012 @ 8:06am
Sounds very good
Solgath  [author] 11 Feb, 2012 @ 7:57pm
hmm, not sure about the daedra side of things, i could prolly do undead easy enough, the armor is a bigger hurdle, given my skill in making mods is fairly lacking, i'd have to learn how to remake or make armor, or have someone make it for me, the glass armor does look pretty "paladinish" just need to sit down and make it, along with the enchants for it, prolly put forts to block, 1 handed damage and restoration imps.
King Lore 11 Feb, 2012 @ 6:14pm
How about a templarish look for the armor and shield, and extra dmg to the undead and dadra for the weapon? :)
Solgath  [author] 10 Feb, 2012 @ 5:36pm
need some input on an enchant i can give the enhanced version of the paladin blade, nothing op, but something that fits the paladin concept, then i guess some heavy type glass armor to go with the set, fun part is building a lvled set, and making it just as powerful as the daedric armor as you get that far in the game.
Solgath  [author] 9 Feb, 2012 @ 1:53am
now all i need is some decent paladin themed armor and shield, prolly white and gold, using maybe the ebony armor, looks good, but doesn't scream paladin, if anyone can help make the armor, or maybe make it and theme it with the sword i'd be extremely happy, my skill in making mods only goes as far as using exsisting models currently >.<
