I use frackin races and usually play as a floran, so having a reliable supply of *cost efficient* food (raw meat) is very helpful.
Also this mod just makes sense.
I like it.

Thanks this could fix the recipe issue I have....after buying a bunch of these raw tentacles only to find out there is *no* recipe to cook them....so had to eat them raw........and get food poisoning......eugh...

Though raw tentacle can be purchased of of some merchants.

i don't like squid or octopus as seafood, but in game makes sense to drop it as food.

I wish I could replant the Tentacle Trees. Maybe you can make the Tentacle drop and a single Tentacle Sapling drop.

@Alucard3598 I went ahead and set it to 1 instead of three. It is a lot of extra food, not that you need it by the time you get to the last stage anyway though.

@Yoshikage Kira I'm making the argument to balance it with the base game, not with the stackable food mod. I have no intention of using that mod. Even without it 3 from each tentacle segment is still a lot of food, excessively so.

If you're worried about food stacking, just get the mod that lets you stack all the food (and subsequently rid us of rotting and spoiling). It's better that way anyways.

I feel like the number should be reduced because it's an unstackable food item. Because that way wouldn't each segment of the "tree" drop a tentacle?

oh, cool. there is another mod that only unlocks the recipe, but I wondered where do these tentacles came from. Never seen a squid in the game... but never thought it was from the giant tentacles. Thanks! On my mod list! http://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=758879851
