I gotta suggest then that you look into taking time into crafting a proportioned and detailed spear like item. What you have is basically just a 3 poly brush with a wood textured applied over. Look at historical weaponry and work from there to get it to fit in with the retro 60's style of TF2.

How come people still think putting "my first" on something is a valid way of deflecting negative or even constructive criticism? Roughly half the mods up on the Nexus for the Fallout and Elderscrolls games are the same way.
