@VkTsU use theme mixer 2.5 to change textures
VkTsU 26 Sep, 2022 @ 10:18am
Is there a way to change the pavement texture? Otherwise this is such an awesome mod, but the pavement texture makes the city look like it's in disrepair. For me this is a big deal breaker.
franzeusq 8 Aug, 2021 @ 6:01am
i dont understand why the broken pavement texture
WaWe 12 Apr, 2020 @ 11:30am
@mr.v, @jacek.kruzel, I wasn’t able to solve it. In the end, I have just used a different Map Theme. You can try to use Theme Mixer from TPB to replace the cliff textures with a different theme. Maybe that will help.

hi! recently using your themes gives me a glitch texture on land and water :( any idea what is happening? https://imgur.com/a/NN4iZ2g
mr.v 19 Mar, 2020 @ 12:26pm
Have same problem as @sth-. The oil resource texture look like dry ground, i don't think it should be like that.
jacek.kruzel 25 Sep, 2018 @ 1:47am
@sth- Have the same problem with ugly textures on slopes. Did you solve it?
duffajfka 18 Jan, 2018 @ 7:10am
Used in my recent map Krasnoveselsk . Thanks for making it possible!

too bright and too much contrast.. not easy on the eyes. specialy when its foggy.
David 3 Oct, 2017 @ 1:55am
Looks really nice.
Though it would be good if you could say what you told Mortified Potato in the description (about them all being the same). I too just thought you were lazy and used the same screenshots!
WaWe 25 Aug, 2017 @ 1:57pm
Hey, I have a problem: When using your realistic Boreal theme, all buldings built on a slope create those ugly, low-res textures on the elevated terrains below them: http://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1120031888

Any tip on how to get rid of them?
DefCynodont 2 Aug, 2017 @ 7:13pm
This is sweat! First map theme I ever used and I love it! That said:

I hate to nitpick, but the moon is transperant, and It's causing the sky to have this wierd "white-out" effect.
Amayasnep 19 Jul, 2017 @ 4:49pm
Tied with Alps Dolomites for my all-time favorite map theme. Cheers!

@Goldman nl
Yes! :-)
DutchCheese 22 May, 2017 @ 12:45am
work this theme with every singel moded map
Amroth 21 May, 2017 @ 9:38am
Alright cheers for the explanation.
Captain Soap  [author] 21 May, 2017 @ 9:11am
@Mortified Potato

No, technically the european is just available for maps created with the european theme.
Amroth 21 May, 2017 @ 9:08am
But the european one would (for example) work for every single map, right?
Captain Soap  [author] 21 May, 2017 @ 8:45am
@Mortified Potato

They are essentially the same. Just separated because of the game, which is distinguishing biomes.
So by having all these different versions of this mod, it will be available to everyone regardless of the biome their map is located in.
Amroth 21 May, 2017 @ 3:41am
Did you seriously have to put the same pictures and videos on every single one of your mods?

I have no idea how different Boreal, European or Tropical variants are.
Captain Soap  [author] 23 Feb, 2017 @ 10:11am
@Dinirex
Textures get compressed and encrypted in Steam Community Packages.
Dinirex 22 Feb, 2017 @ 9:20am
Hello, great work, as always
I have a little question: where can I find textures in local data after I've downloaded it on steam?
(Excuse my English :P)
Captain Soap  [author] 26 Jan, 2017 @ 11:05am
@Plaidygami
Try loading the game, the Theme should load fine.
You usually get this message after an update to the Theme as been released.
Plaidygami 23 Jan, 2017 @ 6:39am
Just reinstalled this game half an hour ago (after not playing for 7 months), and when I try to start a new map with this theme, it says the file is missing and default will be used. Not sure why. I tried unsubbing and resubbing and it didn't fix it.
Captain Soap  [author] 11 Aug, 2016 @ 4:01am
@Aithemed
Subscribe to the Realistic Boreal Beta . The night is fixed there.
Captain Soap  [author] 11 Aug, 2016 @ 3:50am
@theninja35
This depends on your used LUT.
Additionally you're playing in an boreal themed map right now, that's why the sand appears to be a bit greyish. You can't compare it to tropical sand. If you wish to have this white sand though, install Environment Changer and use a different version of the Realistic Map Themes.
theninja35 10 Aug, 2016 @ 6:34pm
The sand appears to be grey and it is very off-putting. Do you know why this might occur?
Captain Soap  [author] 7 Aug, 2016 @ 2:44am
@Aithemed
The moon should show up though. Maybe you've missed it?
Captain Soap  [author] 7 Aug, 2016 @ 2:43am
@Aithemed
Next version will fix that issue!
Aithemed 6 Aug, 2016 @ 10:19pm
Captain, I can´t play at night, because is to dark, I can´t see anything no stars, no moon, only the lights of the buildings and roads. Is this normal? I subscribe 3 times and nothing chages the Templete and the Tropical is also dark at night. Im using the Realistic LUT and the Defenitive LUT. PD In day time looks fantastic !

@Demosthenes_1
The look of your results depends on your personal settings and installed mods. This specific item remains the same for you and all YouTuber's
Sunnyside 2 Aug, 2016 @ 4:57pm
how come when I watch videos of other youtubers using this theme, it isnt like that then?
Captain Soap  [author] 2 Aug, 2016 @ 7:59am
@Demosthenes_1
Please take a look at my last answer.
Sunnyside 1 Aug, 2016 @ 4:26pm
rock texture shows up as hazy and blurred
Tuaam 20 Jun, 2016 @ 2:26pm
Alright then.
Captain Soap  [author] 20 Jun, 2016 @ 10:54am
@Tuaam
This is because the game does not support higher texture resolutions.
I'm working on improving the shadows to look sharper as far as the game allows.
Tuaam 20 Jun, 2016 @ 8:49am
Captain Soap  [author] 19 Jun, 2016 @ 9:36pm
@Tuaam
Could you commit a screenshot?
Tuaam 19 Jun, 2016 @ 1:35pm
For some reason, whenever I load this theme onto a city the Rock Textures look very pixelated.
Amom 13 Jun, 2016 @ 12:54pm
¡Gracias!
Geberel85 10 Jun, 2016 @ 9:23am
I have been looking for a central asian mountain theme for a while. After a long review, I have found this one to be the best for the job! Using oil and ore to paint the landscape, I managed to create this map ! A beautiful and extremely flexible theme!
Captain Soap  [author] 22 May, 2016 @ 1:48pm
@Blackdragonbird
Glad it's fixed :)
Blackdragonbird 22 May, 2016 @ 1:01pm
@Captain Soap. Already changed it:

http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/276221870380478328/FF995E3ED9DD75A13FB69B9B1E6F6FD0B905B0A5/

The sky is blue because of the LUT I was using to take the screens. With your Realistic LUT it's more dark, but I can see the stars now. Your moon has a face in it AND was making all the sky black.

Thank you. =)
Captain Soap  [author] 22 May, 2016 @ 12:32pm
@Blackdragonbird
What moon did you get? It should be even more realistic than the vanilla moon.
Blackdragonbird 22 May, 2016 @ 6:58am
One of the best map themes in the workshop so far. But seriously, why brake the realistic feel with that moon? Do you think to launch a really realistic version with a real moon texture?
kingpinn 8 May, 2016 @ 7:35am
absolutely wondeful. Thank you.
agusingnavy 21 Apr, 2016 @ 10:37am
Best moon ever ;)
Drunk Lord 17 Apr, 2016 @ 10:43am
Best Mod pack ever I love it <3
Patoz 17 Apr, 2016 @ 9:35am
@klvler dont worry, Ive fixed the issue myself and im loving it, thanks anyway
