cool look, work a bit more on the stock and underlying metal? its got a weird platic-y look that really throws me off

love this design! Almost makes me want to boot the game back up haha

The stock of the rifle looks too pasted-over, having panels with the circuitry design would look cleaner, and mixing it with some kind of texturized polycarbonate or rubberized appearance would add to the high-tech look this is going for. The semi-circles look a bit low-resolution in the screenshots and ought to be more sharply defined too. The design along the barrel is very cool, the hard angles and bright circuit design is very eye-catching.

So loop, I almost considered that but then ingame, the only thing the wire embedded grip will do is shine a little different than a flat surface, it will almost not be noticeable.

I would suggest maybe not circuiting-up the stock, make that more solid, more traditional.
