Epyx, in the bill menu where the item picture is there is a little light icon in the bottom right, click that and you can select a couple of options like picking the best you have for a particular stat or from a list of all materials. You can the shift click the item image to open a second instance and do the same thing to compare materials.

How can I pick a material and see the differences between weapons made from different materials? The list keeps switching and I can't find an option to turn it off.

This is the greatest mod I never knew I needed. I always kinda enjoyed the clunky excel sim Rimworld has but after playing with for this not even a couple of hours I don't think I can go back. Stellar job dude

Also - when using Dubs Mint Menus, you can type in a bill search bar a research name (for example "long blades" and it will show you all items that have been unlocked by that research. Maybe something similar here?

Combat Extended has a different stat for weapons that can be used with shields, it's called "One-handed weapon". Could you patch it in instead of "Usable with shields?"

Would it be possible to sort the select material menu to be alphabetical?

Also, the menu for material selection (light bulb?) is a bit subtle, a more predominant button might be more intuitive.

Can we have a seperate window for recipes like in dubs mint menus.
Having active bills and all possible bills in one window is too cramped for me.

With categorized bills enabled it feels too cluttered and overloaded. Without that setting i don't have much use for it.

Из полезного, видно сразу сколько даст брони защиты от тепла и холода , и сравнение
+ поиск по названию предмета (минус в этом то что нету крестика сбросить набранный текст) приходится стирать бекспейсом (как по мне неудобняк)
из неудобного, в крафт кидается одна вещь потом настраивается бесконечно или коллво
поиск предмета для крафта на рабочем месте не работает (квадратик на земле)

WTF? It's so beautiful! The pictures, the descriptions, the extra infos. The categorized crafting picker. I love it! Oh my god, the mouseover windows! You can even compare things.

Everything else about this is awesome, but echoing a couple of other comments, I can't reorder bill priorities with this on the Steam Deck. The bill just kind of gets stuck on my mouse and won't let me put it in a different position and I have to close out of the menu. If I uncheck the box in the top right to fall back to the Better Workbench Management UI, drag and dropping bill order works just fine in there. Any ideas?
if you think that rimworld is microsoft excel you should try victoria 2/3

It should work with mint menus, though i did disable the bills section from the mint menus first, not sure if that step is necessary or not, as I still enjoy that mod for the nice stuff it does for plants and a few other things.

Absolutely essential mod, spectacular work. I might've missed it in the mod options, but is there an option to default to having all categories collapsed on opening the bill menu when using categorized mode? When you have an unwarranted amount of mods it'd be super nice (:

Looks nice. But I do have one thing I want from it- Is it possible to open this menu other then in the bill tab? I'd like to directly compare pieces of gear I actually have, dropped or looted, rather then being restricted to comparing items that I have the capacity to craft.

Is it possible to filter apparel bills by body part? This is nicer than Dubs bill menu, but I really miss being able to search for armour for specific body parts.

@Andromeda Any chance you could add a compact bill listing? Especially on the tailor, I end up with a lot of bills being done and the list gets pretty long... Reordering something takes a little bit of scrolling.

@Andromeda, Correct, it's top down in priority when available criteria is satisfied otherwise it's a fall through for evaluation on the next task. I was simply asking if it was possible to reorder top down priority by drag and dropping the bills to a different place on the stack without having to recreate the tasks. I'm not sure how difficult such a feature would be and love the mod even without. The implementation and UI improvements are absolutely amazing and very professional as is!

@Andromeda, it would be great if we could clear the text in the search field when trying to filter the available recipes, for example by clicking on the red cross next to the text field. It's kind of hard to press Ctrl+A and Backspace every time when I need to find and add a bunch of different production recipes.

P.S. Thank you for this wonderful mod!

I absolutely love this mod! thank you for making it! I have one request though. I really like the categorised recipe list but I like the bigger icons from the wide mode too. I would love to have a wide categorised option.

I'm with PFE, trying to change the visual order of the bill recipies doesnt work. I can click and drag all I want but they won't swap places. However, watching Aavak play, he's easily able to do it. Im on Steamdeck, could that be affecting it?

@pfe in rimworld priority doesnt work quite strict as you expect. Priority is "desirable". That is, if the first task in the list can't be completed, the next one after it will be completed, and so on
Try to pause all other tasks and manually force a pawn to work on the workbench - you will understand what is wrong

Maybe I'm missing something but dragging and dropping bills doesn't seem to reprioritize them in the queue. I have to completely delete the bill, it seems, and recopy. Am I missing something obvious?

I would love for the ability to queue a craft without jumping back to the top. Something like holding ctrl when hitting "make". I really love the category system and sometimes I just wanna browse through the categories and add a couple of things from a category, but having to jump down and find the category again after adding each thing is a pain.

@Futstub you can click details on the bill, and hit copy in that window, then it behaves as you expect pasting it into a new workbench.

Loving this mod so far.

Could you add "Ranged Cooldown" to weapon stats? It's something I like comparing to other weapons, so I would like it if it were in the stats visualization page.

Sadly this doesn't work well woth better workbench management, because it removes the options to copy a single bill and paste it onto another workbench.
