Actually, this mod does work, but you gotta go into your save game, tweak the settings, then quit and reload the save for it to kick in.

Because "realistic Car Physics" mod needs user to dabble with the mod file in order to install, it might cause conflict with this mod? Im not sure because I havent tried it myself due to fearing it might break my save/game file. Im also no expert in coding, but I do fear at testing stuff because I might break stuff along the way and it would cost irrepareable damages on my end. Such as uninstalling "rrealistic Car Physics" mod requires me to validate steam PZomboid files and that might make a domino effect on all other mods (who knows? we're in an unstable build)..thank you for the heads up ;)

@SomeActualCheese I will check the mod with the latest build soon.
Mitch  [author] 10 Nov @ 4:48pm
@Vermilion I have not tested those myself but it should be compatible with them.
Vermilion 9 Nov @ 12:36am
Is it compatible with "realistic car physics" and "project summer car" mod?
SomeActualCheese 8 Nov @ 2:45pm
im having the same problem as Kathigu-ra im noticing no real change, right now my van is stationary while trying to tow another vehicle
Kathigu-ra 6 Nov @ 6:54pm
Alright I’ll try tomorrow
Mitch  [author] 6 Nov @ 6:53pm
@Kathigu-ra I'm honestly running out of ideas. Maybe try resubscribing to the mod. If that still doesn't help then please add me on here and shoot me a message.
Kathigu-ra 6 Nov @ 2:39pm
Yeah exactly
Mitch  [author] 6 Nov @ 1:46pm
@Kathigu-ra Just to make sure, you changed every value in the settings to their max and there wasn't any noticeable difference?
Kathigu-ra 6 Nov @ 1:12pm
to be more specific, i've never seen it into work, as if i didnt installed at all, oh and i made sure it is "on" in both saves and main menu mods
Kathigu-ra 6 Nov @ 1:08pm
no, if i remember right it does with lots of vanilla/modded ones, i'm not a fan about towing even more if the vanilla make it worse to move, since i tried with your mod it didnt seems to make any differences
Mitch  [author] 6 Nov @ 6:17am
@Kathigu-ra Does this happen with only one specific vehicle?
Kathigu-ra 6 Nov @ 6:04am
Thats what I did unfortunately it didnt do any différence
Mitch  [author] 6 Nov @ 2:44am
@Kathigu-ra Mod order doesn't matter and it shouldn't be an incompatibility with another mod either. Try increasing each value in the settings and check if that makes a difference.
Kathigu-ra 5 Nov @ 9:54pm
Just to specify I’m using lastest b42v other than that i tried to put everything to 2 nothing seems to happens it’s a new save so not save process it’s either conflict mod or mod loading order and I’m a bit too unmotivated to isolate it from all my Mods
Kathigu-ra 5 Nov @ 9:49pm
Sir your mod doesnt seems to work do I have to put into specific mod loading priority ?
Mitch  [author] 4 Nov @ 1:18pm
@bentags This mod doesn't change any menus so it's probably another mod. I haven't had any issues in the latest build.
bentags 4 Nov @ 1:09pm
There's no towing option anymore is that from one of my mods or has anyone else found this issue?
Mitch  [author] 30 Oct @ 3:57am
@Sutibu I hope you'll find it useful. :cozybethesda:
Sutibu 30 Oct @ 3:49am
@Mitch Alright, thanks. Glad I found this mod.
Mitch  [author] 30 Oct @ 3:48am
@Sutibu Yes, just make sure to enable it in your save.
Sutibu 30 Oct @ 3:31am
Is it save compatible?
Nere Varine 24 Oct @ 11:46pm
Of course it would be build 42...
Mitch  [author] 13 Oct @ 6:19am
@Player145 The mod should work normally as long as it's enabled. Not sure what you mean by quitting and reloading.
Player145 13 Oct @ 6:09am
@Khaar you need to quit to menu and load the game again for the mod to take effect. Don't know why though.
lstew234 9 Oct @ 7:02am
Can I change multiple vehicles and trailer so I can make my own road train?
Mitch  [author] 4 Oct @ 3:16am
@Toto I'm very happy to hear that. I appreciate your comments. :cozybethesda:
Toto 4 Oct @ 2:55am
I tested it with Better Car Physics and it’s super fun – thanks a lot! No problems, no errors. It feels way more realistic now. Patch 42.12 works perfectly with this mod.this mod will stay forever in my mod list. Everyone has to decide for themselves how fast they go :D But I wouldn’t drive too fast, otherwise the car will skid., thanks for this mega nice mod and the hard work
Mitch  [author] 28 Sep @ 6:21am
@Khaar Did you try tweaking the values in the sandbox settings?
Khaar 28 Sep @ 2:41am
Luckily I found a firetruck but I cannot seem to get this to work :(
AnZi_BeL 27 Sep @ 12:22pm
It works on b42?
Where should this be in the load order?
victor, 14 Sep @ 9:57am
Hey, may I ask for a Build 41 version of this mod?
Towing in 41 is really painful sometimes, specially when towing a car that is really far from base. It's so slow to drive.. :steamsad:
Slayfire 6 Sep @ 5:05pm
Bro. Shorten the "vanilla" part of the video to 5-10 seconds. Instead, show the different multipliers.
sineuncha 6 Sep @ 3:52am
I rather die than watch that video to the end(this is one of the greatest mod)
Mitch  [author] 31 Aug @ 4:57am
@化け物 They determine the additional towing force your vehicle receives when towing other vehicles. I encourage you to try changing them and checking which ones suit you best.
化け物 30 Aug @ 7:57am
May I ask what the three factors in the sandbox Settings specifically mean? I have no idea at all what impact the modification will have.
Skekker 26 Aug @ 7:59pm
does this work with trailers?
Mitch  [author] 25 Aug @ 12:36pm
@kaiitoking I'm glad to hear you found the mod useful.
kaiitoking 25 Aug @ 11:12am
si , es como en la foto, buen mod , alfin puedo remolcar autos sin ser una tortuga
Mitch  [author] 25 Aug @ 9:50am
@kaiitoking If I remember correctly, I was using the default settings when I recorded the video. Play with the settings and see which ones work best for you. If you're still having issues, please let me know.
Mitch  [author] 25 Aug @ 9:46am
@Mimouz I wasn't aware of that issue. I'll try to recreate it on my end.
kaiitoking 25 Aug @ 6:34am
Hola, para que el mod funcione como en el video, debo poner la config igual a la foto? Quiero poder remolcar vehiculos pero tampoco sacarle todo el realismo, quiero como en el video
Mimouz 24 Aug @ 2:44pm
It happens only with the mod ! Towing Ki5 cars with 1.5 can sometimes make them get stuck in the air

Sometimes restarting the game fix it, if not we have to hit them, or they get completely stuck and disappear after days
Mitch  [author] 24 Aug @ 1:17pm
@Mimouz The vehicle swinging side to side while being towed is due to changes in how the hinge point works in build 42. I wasn't aware of the issue with cars getting stuck in the air though. Does it happen with the mod disabled as well?
Mimouz 24 Aug @ 9:46am
Regularly vehicles that we tow are going left and right for some reason

A lot are getting stuck in the air while beign towed (1.5 setting for your mod) lol
Xion 24 Aug @ 9:29am
Check this video, its like the towed vehicle drifts to a side when it's towed

streamable . com/ 7h9r9y
Mitch  [author] 24 Aug @ 9:11am
@Xion Can you explain what you mean by misalignment?
Xion 24 Aug @ 9:03am
Is there any chance you could fix the misalignment of towed vehicles? I know it's a vanilla thing but it just stupid to have it misaligned
