Puzzle is great too. Not so hard and not that obvious.
I Like the Puzzle It made me think where to put the Cube
Wouldn't a simple fix be to allow the player to walk up to (and eventually through) the portal surface with the little "x" that you point the laser into? Not sure if it breaks the puzzle...but it would allow a route back if you left both cubes on the other side and they weren't pressing any buttons
Yeah, that's one of the problems that I noticed when making the puzzle. I had made soft lock detection, but it looked scummy and was buggy, so I decided to remove it, not sure if it's that bad. If more people struggle with soft locking themself, I'll update the map.
And so much cool detail on this map, MAN!
I really enjoyed the colors and custom assets, and that big window that separates the two rooms was a godsend (also very cool effect with that low level distortion, looks nice)!
Also when GLaDOS roasted me for standing and looking at the details at the start was a hilarious.
(The same also goes to the ending when you can go back to the testchamber) .
Creative detail with the music as well, to control the pitch of the music with your portals is a cool concept. Sadly over time it was a bit annoying for me with those few looping beats, and because I was not able the controll the volume in the settings I had to manually kill it with ent_fire commands.
But over all AMAZING MAP! looking foward for your next one!
Thumbs up and favorited!
