I mean, anything that has a value in the game (so, most things) will increase the colony's wealth
Salep 19 nov om 23:42
my mistake I meant threat scale Raid points

What "thread calculation"?
Salep 19 nov om 23:28
hi i have 2 questions
1-are these new prosthetics increase the thread calculation similar to vanilla ones?
2-are these new item appears on traders or we can only craft them?
Babaloo321 21 okt om 16:03
Found out where the issue was really coming from, it's actually intended. I'm using Xenobionic Patcher (1.6 Unofficial) and I guess I forgot that it allows animal bionics/prosthetics and surgeries on humanlikes by default.
Sarg Bjornson  [auteur] 19 okt om 14:13
Should be a mod conflict too
Babaloo321 19 okt om 14:02
I see. I think I know what mod may be causing that. I am however still able to implant said implant it into any of my Colonists. Is this intentional?
Sarg Bjornson  [auteur] 18 okt om 9:44
No, you have another mod doing that. This mod's implants are player crafted only
Babaloo321 18 okt om 8:35
Are some implants supposed to show up on non-animal pawns? I just had an enemy Pigskin show up with an implanted Animal Nuclear Stomach. Is it because they're not a Baseliner? I don't have a log to share since theres no errors, but I can upload it if you need it.
Sarg Bjornson  [auteur] 8 okt om 1:26
People won't read anyway :)

Like, I have an option in several mods reading "making this lower means it happens more often" and I still get people angry with the mod because they crank it to the minimum
valentijn78 8 okt om 1:12
Lower "body limit" to 0 in mod settings to make sure you can add the implants to everything.

Suggestion: The phrasing makes it sound like that's the number of that category of implant which can be added, unless hovering over to get the explanation. Changing "implant body limit" to "implant minimum animal size" or even just "implant animal size" and a default of 0 might rectify much of the confusion and repetitive reports.

Thanks

enlarger implant doesn't allow me to install bionics in timber wolfs
Omega13 24 aug om 2:31
I definitely did not know that. Thank you for the explanation, Sarg.
Sarg Bjornson  [auteur] 24 aug om 0:41
"Whatever reason" is because Steam's markup is ♥♥♥♥. If you don't do flashy infographics, your mods doesn't get subscriptions
Omega13 24 aug om 0:08
@Ra_Zim I had the same issue. Because the mod description, for whatever reason, uses images instead of text and thus is not easily searchable I did not know what was going on at first either. (No, I don't read every mod's entire description, I don't read every TOS in its entirety either, sue me.) The problem is your animal is too small. Fortunately, the mod's options allow you to turn off this feature by scaling all size requirements to zero.
Sarg Bjornson  [auteur] 23 aug om 23:06
Read above what the mod does
Ra_Zim TTV 23 aug om 15:20
Okay, so slight update here. I can install them in large animals, but even vanilla ones like the wolf I can not. Is that intentional?
Ra_Zim TTV 23 aug om 14:59
How do we actually install these implants? I have made several of them, but I can not seem to actually install them, they do not show up in the Operations menu.
Omega13 22 aug om 14:04
In the meantime, I imagine my elephant constantly making a deflating balloon noise
Sarg Bjornson  [auteur] 21 aug om 22:58
Nah, just wait, it will update
Omega13 21 aug om 20:49
So if you put an animal enlarger in someone, decide you don't like how it looks, and remove it, they retain their enlarged size. So technically you just need to make one of these implants and shuffle it around into everyone that you want to embiggen.
Omega13 20 aug om 22:29
Never mind figured out the body limit thing sorry to bother.
Omega13 20 aug om 21:53
I don't seem to be able to install a bionic animal eye in a husky dog.
RagingFlower 18 aug om 14:48
Love the additions added by this mod, it's 95% of the way to just replacing a dog said for me. Still struggling to deal with scarring just using this mod, those brain scars really suck! Is there anything in the pack that adds a regen effect similar to the Alpha animal shrimps?
Æþelræd 17 aug om 4:17
Unfortunately I can't install bionic implants in my sphinx cat even with enlarger implant (tested only with Harmony enabled, all DLC, VEF, and Alpha Implants to eliminate the possibility of mod conflict, setting the required values for implants to 0 solves the problem)
Nexira Elimus 15 aug om 17:09
Thanks for the update!~
Sarg Bjornson  [auteur] 15 aug om 0:08
v2.02:

Fixed enlarger and shrinker implants being dependent on animal body size
Nexira Elimus 9 aug om 4:46
same issue with the enlarger implant, rest of it works pretty great so far and is super fun, thanks a ton for the mod!~
Omega13 5 aug om 16:45
Extremely minor bug - despite specifically saying that it can be installed in any animal regardless of size, a beagle is apparently too little for the Animal Enlarger Implant.
Greasy 5 aug om 16:35
I went ahead and removed the chip, because he was just destroying the berries. Rascal.
Sarg Bjornson  [auteur] 5 aug om 13:49
He should get berries
Greasy 5 aug om 12:07
Put the harvest chip in my panda. Now he runs around and "harvests" berry bushes, but doesn't actually get any berries from them. Was this the intended behavior? XD
Sarg Bjornson  [auteur] 5 aug om 1:26
They are added as base game abilities, not psy-talents
DrBossWatson 4 aug om 15:12
Tried a few of them and I'm guessing no since they are added as psy-talents with no right click to auto-cast and when I tell them to attack they just go into melee. Neat but not going to work for the crow army
Sarg Bjornson  [auteur] 4 aug om 14:39
Please try and get back to me
DrBossWatson 4 aug om 13:27
Will animals auto cast the new ranged attacks or do I have to make them do it manually?
shakeyourbunny 2 aug om 12:29
Nice, thank you for the information!
Sarg Bjornson  [auteur] 2 aug om 9:27
Want a leg for your poor doggy? ADS2
Want a leg, but also the doggy to mine, sprout tentacles and attack with fire breath? Alpha Implants

Both compatible with each other
shakeyourbunny 2 aug om 8:46
Is that mod compatible with A Dog Said .. Animal Implants 2 (continued)?

Also, does it have some overlap?
Sarg Bjornson  [auteur] 29 jul om 10:20
No, you had another mod enabling it
Droider 28 jul om 21:29
well, i was able to implant them to humans in 1.5. i guess it was an unrecorded bug you accidentally fixed.
Sarg Bjornson  [auteur] 26 jul om 22:51
That wasn't ever in this mod, though
Droider 26 jul om 18:16
so sad you cant put the implants onto pawns anymore, im gonna miss randomly getting pawns with an acid spitter, or being able to make pawns larger
Sarg Bjornson  [auteur] 25 jul om 23:25
I can't account for what other mods do, sorry
DXQ 25 jul om 23:13
I don't know what caused this issue, but here's the situation: I used the Animal Apparel: Frameworku mod, and after installing Animal enlargr implant, the armor worn by animals was actually enlarged by a factor of 4. It's like the armor was calculated twice when calculating the magnification factor, once for the armor itself (clothing) and once for the wearer (animal)
luca 23 jul om 13:07
great mod, i dont know if this is the right place for suggestions but it would be awesome if there was an implant that reduced an animals filth rate below whatever the warning threshold is for the animal filth notification. figured it would be a good addition with gravships
Space 17 jul om 17:10
Love this mod and the comment below me thanks Sarg.
Bubger Kirg 16 jul om 15:18
I was just thinking today I wish I could augment my animals and here you already are. So many of my mods I see your name on them Sarg, you're a legend man. You got a devlog somewhere with some notes on how to get into modding like this? Maybe that's off topic tho... great mod man
