So sometimes steam has a bug that requires reinstalling the game before it starts downloading workshop mods. If the button isn't in the bottom of your main menu next to mod-list, nor in the pause menu in game, try reinstalling the game

I might need some help with installation, I clicked subscribe but I can't seem to find the codex anywhere ingame? I don't have too many mods at all so I'm not sure it's a character issue. Are there any steps I'm supposed to take other than subscribing?

To be fair, a codex entry can feel barebones or even obfuscate the full nature of a character's moves unless a developer goes out of their way to customize the character's codex entry, whether with more specific frame data notes, individual move breakdowns, separate tabs to explain character-specific mechanics or lore, or even a general gameplan or tips & tricks.

Still, you've got to want to see the data. You wouldn't have subscribed to the codex otherwise if you didn't.

I can confirm that in its current state, Engineer breaks the standalone Codex by eliminating access to all but the vanilla characters. You can still view codex entries for custom characters while in a match, but not from the main menu. Unsubscribing from Engineer fixes this.

If the game crashes from using Codex, and the names aren't available in game.

a preview would be really nice, I think screenshots would work fine

I know im not asking for something simple. . . However, it would be neat if there is there a way to have like a preview of the attack. like in fighting games when you are training to preview combos for different characters.

The codex now having a search box is actually huge. It's a lifesaver for those players with larger rosters.

The more creators who sign on and provide more specialized info for their characters, the stronger this mod becomes. Record Future's entry is a very good example of at least some of the potential this mod offers.

ever since i got the game i wish the default hustlers had attack descriptions so mod makers would add descs to their own attacks but ig this is fine too really cool mod

I love this mod so much. The one suggestion I have is that when you click on the move, it show's you the action ghost underneath all the info.

There's a bug in this mod where when I press ninja it doesn't load, as well as a bug that causes the screen to get bigger, so the close button goes off the screen and I can't close the settings. I hope you can fix it.
