my Louie is bugged and i can't even lauch, it keep saying "cannot move. Needs more crew in order to operate" , forming caravan is disabled too, even when my pilot already get in the Louie.

the reason why is bcus of balance mostly.
tho if u wanna carry more people in the cherokee, i remember there was a mod, i think it was the "tier 3 upgrades" or smth like that, you should search it.
it also has some more cool stuff like a frontal turret for the loui and a spoiler for both the classy and the sport car.

Is there a way to modify the cherokee? it makes no sense to me that a famous Chinook, the transport helicoper that can carry up to 55 real life soldiers can only carry 2 people and they both have to be pilots, Whereas the louie can carry 6, 5 passengers and 1 pilot I've just looked at the mosquito and it can carry 4!

tho whenever flying to other tiles i do in fact have option to either land on the specific spot or at the edge/center

guys how do i land the heli manually?
like i’m trying to land it at my base, not just on the map edge.
when returning there’s only “Enter *outpost name*” option and it always drops the heli at the map edge.
there’s no helipad or any landing zone anywhere in the build menu, i checked all tabs.

I am unable to trade with Merchant Guild using Cherokee, I can't even land on the site, I have to land one title away and move agonizingly slow to overlap but when that happens, I still can't barter.

Hello, I have a question to ask Why can't helicopters or other similar vehicles load mechanical bodies? Do I need a seat to load it? Will this seem troublesome?

Actually I think its just chemfuel. I think you just put chemfuel in and then put 3 people in and turn it on and it somehow converts chemfuel into ammo?

I made a Burya but, how do I reload it? What ammo does it take? Do I just put HE shells into it?

yeah the case was indeed that i haven't added the mod to the modlist, now everything works fine

maybe the problem was that i haven't installed the mod, but i remember i checked it. now i've subscribed to it and will try to find the wrecks on weekend.

i am not sure it's possible to find those new vehicles. i've tried maybe 20+ tiles, and none of them had any wrecks that i could repair. only vanilla ancient transports that i can only destroy. i've even tried to search for the wrecks on road tiles, both ancient road and asphalt roads. None were found.

Is there a way to select the ammo type used by the udar? My pawns keeps loading tox shells into it while i'd prefer them to load high-explosive shells.
The auto reloading level of the main turret is set to 0, but they just keep loading the shells

just an idea but is there a chance that the garage door could be made airtight in space and to make it a little more believable just do this to the steel/plasteel/uranium/vacstone variant of the automatic garage doors?:steamhappy:

Is it just me or using Helicopters prevents the pawn from eating packed meals and cause starvation? I also had them reposition the helicopter by having them fly off and back the to same map and somehow they are sleep deprived and starving even though its been about 10 seconds.

If you are having trouble trading, you have to pull you pawn off the helicopter by right clicking and dragging them to the dismount section. You should have stuff to trade then, just make sure you have the required rank/titles for nobles.

Im unable to pick a landing spot or trade with the louie or Cherokee when going to quest spots. It shows nothing for me to trade.

Just found a problem with Mosquito and Cherokee, i cant assign this two helis to be a caravan vehicles. I can do that to road vehicles but not for helis:steamsad: Is it a bug or something? I can remember that in 1.5 i can assign it for caravan

Follow up to burya
When taking it on a caravan, and arriving at a destination with at least a driver, on loading in I can deploy
If I leave a pawn inside Burya, save, and reload, I can deploy the burya
removing the driver disables the ability to deploy or undeploy until another occupied reload occurs

I cannot use vehicles to trade with other trading posts.When entering the trading menu, the goods in the vehicle cannot be traded or given as gifts, and the goods in the vehicle are simply not visible in the menu.

When Udar fires the projectile is just flying towards the opposite direction, and drop on the spot that far closer than expected, maybe this is a CE related bug?

So far haven't been able to trade using vehicles, but transporting materials from one map tile to another (like ore lumps -> colony) works just fine.
Also the assets in the vehicles menu are broken

hmm ive read coments and reports but noone seem to have problem i do. where i have louie but flying it for even an hour makes my pawn leaving it hungry and tired like they flew for a day+. its nothing i cant work around but still bit weird and i dont know what causing it

For those who are having problems with the Burya:
-Go into Dev Mode
-Click on the Burya
-Select the gear Icon that says "Tweak values"
-Scroll down till you see the vehicle turret section
-Set deployment to "none" or "undeployed"

This will remove the deployment requirement from the Burya's turret, allowing you to fire whenever you'd like. A little temp fix I ended finding while rummaging through vehicle options, hopefully this helps y'all out.

Cant deploy it
I've researched the vehicle and everything, but just doesn't seem to have an option to let me deploy it
researched Rocket Artillery, Researched Rocket turret, Mortars, the like

Would love the option for the cherokee to load passengers instead of or in addition to cargo, currently modified the txt file to accept 10 pilots instead, but a mod option would be super nice <3

I think I'm doing something wrong but I am trying to leave the map to go on caravan and select my truck and the driver, however when they try to leave it says they cannot access the side of the map they are going to leave on. This pops up even when they are directly next to the map edge.

Imperialism, the solution i found was to research the Rocket Artillery in the vehicles tab, if that doesn't work, i don't know how else i got mine working

Got the same issue with the Buyra myself. Fixed up one I found in the field, and used dev mode to build a wholly new one. Same issue.

Fully loaded with fuel and with a full ammo rack. Also tried with a full crew of three. Still nothing.

I got Burya to deploy after i finished researching it! if you have repaired it in field, you should be able to start researching it! Please let me know if im wrong but it has worked for me

Am I the only one not able to trade with Louie? It opens up the trade menu but I have no Items to sell but I actually have plenty in the cargo hold :(

Has anyone else encountered the issue of the Louie holding way too many pawns? For me, it says the Louie can hold 3 pilots and 15 passengers. Wonder if it's an issue with the vehicle upgrade mod.

Yeah Vehicles spawning out in the open in space hard to land my ship with some of the generation, i like the idea of the drop pod wreckage spawning in space but at least on the platform
First I played with the mod enabled, saw the same problem, reloaded the save without it, then exited again and entered with it - everything works

Just reload the save with and without the mod. Personally, it worked for me
