Any idea why the permit screen would be coming up with a blank page? Would it be because the Empire is deactivated?

Same question as M. Rottenson. You probably should list the answer in your FAQ given that many of us use CE. I'm not always doing Playthrough with it, but it happens at regular intervals.

The only thing holding me back from getting this is the textures being a bit un-vanilla style, but otherwise I love black magic and sacrifice style mods a lot!

Ive had a few ideas with how they could look, if you ever wanted some help with it, as well as maybe a few other items that could added.

One idea that could work was a golden silk pupae, which would make golden silk that would be a replacement for gold when it came to making higher tier pelt throne. The gold silk can also be used for crafting that can make beautiful clothing.

I guess a problem with it would be that it be a bit RNG to get these things, but it could be fixed by calling in a special blood caravan that sells the pupae needed with the comms console so long as you have someone with a required title.

Oh, and another thing, is it possible to make the deserters and the old god factions work when both are enabled? I think the problem with them is that their both considered "TribalEmpire" and thus both of their quests and factions seem to conflict, making them bug out and not work properly together.

Heya, big fan of the mod, im wondering if you would ever think of making higher tier pelt thrones similar for higher ranks, I think it would be really coold and Id love to have a giant pelt throne full of shadowsilk and the like.

@El: You asked for a heads-up if we had quest people not showing up. I ran into that last night, when the bestowers for a Blood Screamer ceremony never arrived after accepting the quest. Wish I could provide more information, but I figured it was just the result of a mod incompatibility on my end and didn't think to preserve the logs. All I can say is that it does still happen.

That said, this mod is great and enables a really interesting tribal play-style, especially in something like a Medieval Overhaul context. Great work on this one :)

Hi there, i don't know if this was ever answered/ fixed, but i'm getting the same problem as "Didgereedank" posted about. Even though i have used the Techprint, and then researched the Dreamthorn Sowing technology, it doesn't appear in any grow tab or craft tab. Am i missing something ?

I wanted to leave a review as even though I've not even joined with my newest run, it is rather awesome. I just had a cult raid, my sanguophage and Archon destroyed them completely--even beheading the Genie that, for some reason, refused to go down. That's when I noticed their headless body shaking: they'd used one of those shadow pupae. Up they went. They didn't last as long the second time...

A+ for the added flavor.

Re-updated - the update yesterday was buggy because I'm an idiot. Parse failure should be fixed now.

@Bearzapt34 Aw thanks! Yeah I'm really happy with the names. Should be fairly easy to do a solo tribal name mod, I'll consider that. I also want to do a solo mod with just the hallucinogen plant (and integrate the new hallucinations from Anomaly) + the painkiller plant from my other mod.

I'm having issues with the faction and pawns not showing up at all, even with VEF. says something about an unknown parse failure for Faction_Ilk.xml

FactionDef Ilk must have at least one pawnGroupMaker with kindDef 'Peaceful', or 'permanentEnemy', 'isPlayer' or 'hidden' should be set to true. Otherwise no guests from this faction will arrive. This is a misconfiguration in El's Ilk of the Old Gods.

How would I go about fixing this?

I am running a medieval overhaul playthrough atm and I haven't received any quests from the old ones faction after the initial introductory quest. Is this a mod compatibility issue with my mod list or is anyone else experiencing this?

i couldn't help but notice that the names in this mod are spectacular. any chance of a tribal name mod? all the old ones are a little to gibberish. "Prax Wargspirit" hits just right though know what i mean?.....or i could just be confusing this with another mod

hey so something weird happened, when i got the starting quest for the mod my fps immediately dropped to like 10 and the game got super slow. anyone else having these issues?

I'm having a similar problem to MedicenTeo, I've received the quest for the blood speaker ceremony and set up the throne room with all requirements, but the bestower hasn't arrived after several days.

Hi, I have been playing with this mod and have gotten enought bloodworth to be a Blood Screamer, the bedroom and throne room have the necessary things, but from bloodwhisperer up to now, they never came to my settlement to do the psylink ceremony. AND i HAVE ALWAYS ACCEPTED THE QUESTS!!!
Any help or idea why its happening would be great!

this has an xml error about factionspawners not having a friendly or permanently hostile or whatever pawntype, thats probably the reason. came to report it anyway

did we make it so starting with any scenarios that weren't derived from base game player factions wouldn't make the old one's immediately hostile to us?
i did a tribal start with this mod and it worked great and was reallyyyyyyyy cool but then i tried with the vanilla expanded tribals faction and they hated me..... they hated me if i started with any of the vanilla expanded factions.

@Kyrox Good point. I've added a note, but Save game compatible if you use Vanilla Expanded Framework . Otherwise the new faction won't get any settlements.

I'd love to use this but your description is missing key information that allows people to make an informed decision. A large margin of your traffic here will be people with on-going saves.

Updated to 1.5, thanks again to Canon [ko-fi.com] for some C# fixes.

Also this mod underperformed even though it's better than most of my other ones, so idk go tell your friends about it or something : - )

And any other mods that create a horror ambience.
Rimasquerade, Vanilla Races Expanded Sanguophage, Call of Cthulhu - Cults, Rim of Madness, Hellsing ARMS Ultimate, V.O.I.D. and so on. Think, El, THINK! A savage tribal faction that worships bloodleting and ceremonies with mystical hallucinogens? Goes great with all of the above.

Is this savegame compatible? I added it to my game and the faction was added just fine, but I haven't gotten quests from them yet. Might just not have waited long enough, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

@El, Just letting you know that your mod overwrites Tantrum , which prevents any mental state defs that inherit from it from giving the pawn the catharsis thought, including the vanilla BedroomTantrum and TargetedTantrum .
