I came here to see if a blank texture was available to allow me to add the lines in IMT and noticed someone else already suggested it, so I second this! Finding the right lane type in the menu then ensuring all the lines match up correctly is a little too clunky for me so I've been leaving my nodes untextured.
I am going to finish a project at the weekend, which is laying arround for over a year already, and after that, I'll take another look at these networks. Maybe I could come up with something ... we'll see. ;) cheers
I'm very happy and gratefull you do all of this!!
But I'll include at least one "blank" version in the next update.
Thanks again ! :)
There are some other minor imperfections I do not want to bother you with. I however would like to ask you if you'd thought about my proposal to add textures to this pack without any of the white lines at all. This way you can add the concrete texture to these empty nodes, and add the markings using IMT. This would make things a whole lot easier.
It would also make the pack more versatile and adds flexibility to it. I myself would be very happy if this could be added to the pack, or a seperate pack.
Keep up the great work! Love the monorail assets btw
@ Tommy Cipote Hi, and thanks. :) Sry for asking, but I dont really understand your question ...
Can you explain better how this one works for non english speakers? For me this is exactly like IMT
I've been struggling to get the texture packs implemented in a perfect way. For example; I've got some interchanges where there's a transition from one-way ramps onto the two-way two-lane National Roads. But as you can see in this pic: https://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2974520215 theres quite a significant difference in lane width, which causes the lines to not allign.
As I've mentioned, I've posted a suggestion on Discord to add the ability to change the zoom % on both sides of a texture for macsergey's IMT mod. But macsergey hasn't responded to any suggestions for quite some time now.
But I believe there's a good and easy option to solve this; And that is to add a couple of texture files to this pack that contain the concrete texture, but none of the lines on it. This way you can add the concrete textures to the empty nodes, and fill them in with markings to your own liking. This would certainly add some flexibility to this pack.
It would be helpfull if you (and others) upvote this suggestion off course ;)
Many thanks to you all ! :)
@MaxFX Many thanks to you for the coffee!! Very much appreciated !! :) ... and regarding to your pic, everything seems to work. :) thats great.
Btw .... there will be more "concrete Highways" stuff in the future ... I still have to empty my "storage". ;)
Any chance you could add some additional files to this pack where both outer lines are solid, instead of one being dashed? That, combined with the guardrails you made I could get to 100% perfection. https://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2967908149
