I dont really understand how to get the genes. When I put the gene material from earth in the research machine it just gives me an invalid input

Hey, Shard, what exactly you did with files?

Followed my guess and that does properly fix it, I now have my fox tail. Until the mod updates, you can edit the files in the mod folder in appdata (2881952787) and change ears1 and ears2 to numbers (I also edited tail which was already 16) to number values. I put all of them to start at 23 in case it messed with husk stuff, given that I checked husk for my example, and it ends at 22.

Hope this helps with getting it updated.

Can confirm that it breaks with that error. Given the error text, it appears to only accept numbers for that field. Digging into the basegame files, that appears to be the case, so simply replacing the id values should fix it, if I'm guessing correctly.

So I think the latest update may have nuked this mod. The game keeps CTDing anytime these genes are applied. Error logs state:

I believe that you can stop the gene from being "cured" by editing the AfflictionGeneticMaterial.xml file and adding healableinmedicalclinic="false" to each of the genes.
It seems to typically go right after type="alieninfection" although idk if placement is important.

Не поленился протестирповать мод на который вы меня ссылали. три раза по 120 генов(как же у меня теперь болит кисть).
За все 3 теста ни один ген из мода не выпал. Ни с тем модом, ни с этим.

У меня крайне мало времени свободного, но я постараюсь обновить этот.

Смотрел. Вы там в комментарии прямо ссылаете людей с EW на данный мод, который по сравнению с тем давно не обновлялся. Поэтмоу я и решил задать сюда вопрос о его работоспособности.

А ты смотрел на версию для стандартных моделек?

Вроде говорили что фикс готов, но не залит. А гены я так понял добываются лотерейкой на равне с другими. Сейчас я перелутбоксил кучу генов, которые смог купить только перком медика(без него в продаже нигде гены не появлялись), но не упал ни один из четырех упомянутых. А для "Обычной версии" я так понимаю мод не синергирует с EW модом(век бы не видеть эти ванильные лица коим места в моих ночных кощмарах)
Так что в итоге нам, кто хочет поиграть с таким модом с EW остается делать? Ждать обновы, или пытаться лутбоксить обычной версии без xpatsh?

в продаже нету потому что обнова поменяла кое что, чтобы появились нужно поставить ласт версию. Эту я так и не обновил пока что, а вот версия не для европы вайфу работает норм

слушай, можешь порекомендовать порядок установки этого конкретного мода? просто я до сих пор так и не нашёл ни одного в продаже ни на одном типе аванпоста. сейчас у меня стоит так, как посоветовал автор мода EW++, то есть Lua + xpath, patches for EW++, EW++, остальные моды. Где твой мод я поставил как патч на EW++.

Hey man, I've been having an issue with this where the clothing of items overwrites the tail on under clothing. Kind of looks like EX: https://i.imgur.com/ioSU6js.png : Happens with EW++ clothing, M10 and EK Clothing. Oddly works with Maddened's and Default Clothing.

@darthflinstone The Genetic Material will be tagged with "Waifu Genetics" mod if it's a waifu genetic. I'd recommend getting "Extract It!" to reliably find them.

Well I mean the bot doc in stations with the command "treat everyone", this will delete your animal gene but wont do anything to the vanilla genes like crawler's
I use your wolf gene and crawler, every station bot doc will treat my wolf gene if I dont manually uncheck this gene.

Aren't standard genes treated by a doctor too?

i have reached the end with the mod active and i have yet to encouter 1 of these genes.
Could it be compatibility issue with my other mods i have active?
