DIY batteries cannot be modified to alter their capacity. I'm desperately seeking help from experts to update this.

Will the magazin spawn when adding this mod midgame on a MP server ?

i put the battery holder thing with batteries and a few wired batteries the inverter next to the battery charger connected the panels and put a few unwired (yet to save power) generators i think.

huh, ive been trying to power the storage units in west point with a battery bank, although i cant seem to turn on the lights in the building via the light switches, might just be the location, then again im very unexperinced with this mod so i prob am doing something wrong, i figure u should just be able to turn on the bank then u should be able to turn on the lights yea? or do you have to wire them together?

@Cap from my experience is can power the whole house, no specific for placable lamps

So can it power already existing light switches? or do they have to be lamps and placeable light buildings?

how do you know if it's working?
i put the solar panels down the battery holder with some batteries in the storage and then placed down an inverter near the battery holder

i see a window but it says no backup not connected and not enough solar panels as well as 5 hrs duration. Am i missing something need more panels or another thing?

For the people bringing it up, you can change the panel connection time in the mod settings. If you have the sandbox options mod you can do it in game. Remember to quit and restart the game for the change to take place.

Can I use the solar panels to power the gas stations fuel pumps?

why is connecting solar panels the absolute slowest thing ever. even reading in vanilla mode is faster than this. I don't get it. why punish us like this :(

This mod is terrific. But the default "Connect panel..." time is absolutely ridiculous. There's "Time to impart a sense of The Grind / work" in a game, and then there's "8 minutes staring at a screen that makes me wanna never use this again." This mod does the latter / second. Please change default. Cheers!

Great mod. Got our base running only on solar. the only problem is the amount of time it takes to connect a panel to battery bank.

Can you connect multiple battery banks together?

@Nevo No their is a specific area which is a circle that it will cover. Basically you want it at the center of a house.

How do I know what houses the powerbank covers?
In a community with more houses, can I just place a powerbank somewhere in between in the houses and it will cover for all houses or does the powerbank need to be build directly next to the house, it will serve?

I also want to make a suggestion. The floor mounted solar panel and the wall mounted solar panel are almost the same angle as slanted roofs. It would be really cool if there was a version made to look like it was installed on a slanted roof. A version for all 3 roof levels, the same angle as the roof, and a bit offset. I made a quick mockup to illustrate what i mean:

- Mockup [drive.google.com] of roof mounted solar panels

Why when i turn off the server, and turn it back on i need to reconnect all panels. Is it a bug? Anyone can help?

@cleomouri Check the default settings in the ISA scriptblock in the SandboxVars.lua file. The solar panel efficiency is set to default 25 out of 100 max, so 25 Ah would match that value.

@cleomouri Which panels are you working with ? I believe that if you are using an angled panel it wont generate as much because of coverage.

Question - Anyone know why panels seem to be generating less than they should?

Wiki says they should generate 83 Ah/panel. I have 9 up right now and they are only making 233.4 Ah - so 25.9 Ah a panel.

It's only August in our game and the panels are on the roof completely clear getting full sun.

This mod is indispensable for my long-term Zomboid playthroughs.

Much love for this mod and it is very missed in unstable!

I would suggest waiting only because you can only adjust the battery life on a new game.
