Shouldn't the ship's hull function as a heat sink too? After all, the entire hull can store and spread heat. You don't exactly "vent heat", you slowly lose heat, losing heat the faster you are moving. Even faster in atmosphere.

if I place 2 stealth drives, enter stealth with first, then toggle ON the 2nd, the game crashes.
Its obviously intended that you don't use more than one drive anyway, I was just having quick cheeky look at seeing if I could cheese it to chain them

Is it suppose to not update custom info when i'm not looking at it? Tried making script that reads time but couldn't find anything with .GetProperties() and when using .CustomInfo it updates only when exits cloak (once) or whenever i check the drive in terminal myself. Is there any way i can update it manualy in program block?

Removing and readding the weapons seems to fix it, but even copy pasting the grid doesn't reactivate the weapons.

i was testing this mod and everything seemed to be working as intended, until for some reason my game kicked me off my own local server (weird), and then when i loaded up the save again i couldn't fire the weapons on the ship anymore. I was in stealth at the time of being kicked off the server, turning off or back on of the stealth doesn't seem to fix the issue, it's like the weapons and turrets have become unusable now?

@F1ssure™ It's really interesting how you comment that something doesn't work with out even trying to provide feedback that may help the mod-dev to understand why. instead of taking up comment space that is subjective only to your experience which may not be valid since it works for me, and the you tuber who reviewed the mod that lead me to get it here. Your comment may harm other users who see the comment and judge it by just that alone. When it is a 'subjective' experience based on your specific build of space engineers that may interfere with proper function based on over-all use of other mods, scripts, or modifications of the intended use of the original game.

Is there any chance we could get a 3x3 version for small grids? Maybe have it be less efficient or something than the 5x5 version?

In addition the cost should also be less then half of the large grid version.
See armor blocks with a 25 to 1 ratio instead of a 2 to 1.

I agree that the small grid version needs to be SMALL.
Most common application for a stealth drive would be a fighter. This is way to big for that.

may you please make a smaller small grid drive as well as heat sinks if you are able I'm trying to make a stealth bomber but it wont fit on my grid anywhere

Would be cool if this mod could optionally use the already existing heat vent block. Maybe use it if you put [HV] in the name, that way decorative interior vents used for lighting don't try to discharge the heat.

also are you be able to fire while cloaked by using small grids as torpedos? since by the time they hit they wont be part of the cloaked ship anymore

Having 2 stealth drives on a small ship and then selecting the secondary drive in the ship's control panel will cause a game crash. Unsure if this bug is known, but I manage to produce this with a 100% success rate.

Would love an option to allow certain weapons to fire while under cloak, like the Bird of Prey in the Star Trek Movie that could fire its torpedo but nothing else

i have 6 drives, 3 on each side in my main drive room, and there are heat sinks, when i went into stealth, it was great, but when i went out of stealth, it blew up.

Itd be cool to make it extend the stealth bubble a few meters out and have friendly ships able to see when within that range. something like 50-60m would be awesome for stealthed ships that want to take on fighters or vehicles for transport

Pretty amazing mod. It allows for way more creative vision in SE. I just dont get the Heat Signature stuff from a players pov. Like if i go invisible and try to sneak past someone why broadcast my position to everyone in the server afterwards. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Fantastic mod, but the small grid blocks are friggin huge lol
Some smaller versions of the blocks would be awesome, similar in size to the Defensive Shields mod's small grid blocks maybe.

Hi! It's an awesome mod! Wanted to use it on my ship, but can't install it with 5x5 block. I've already made a substitution that provides a 1x1 version of it instead of the default, may I post it in private to use on my private server? I also can give you the files for you to post it, but I didn't change anything except for the model and scale, guess it'll be just easier for you to use an original model instead.

Hey Ash, the mod on my DS is conflicting with something and completely crashing my server. Is there any mods this could conflict with by similarity or such? I really don't want to kill everything and just go mod by mod until I find the culprit.

Found the answer in the settings xml 1x1x1 is a 600 duration compared to 1800 on the 3x3x3 (plus heat sink adds)

Some mod authors like to make an OP version of their initial design, like the Modular Repulsors, in a separate mod. Is it possible we can get something similar with this? I don't want to modify the default aspects of the Stealth Drive because I do want the default drive to remain, but I would like certain ships to have "stronger" drives (an OP version, if you will). Initially I was thinking "I can probably just copy paste the mod somehow and edit the values and names of the pasted one" but then I realized "Haha! I don't know how to do that!" so I'm asking here,,,
