@Thundercraft The mod version mismatch is an optional setting that is turned off by default. And yes the few times I have enabled that setting there where definitely issues. But keeping it turned off i've had no issues with the mod in my 800+ mod list

I suspect one reason why some players prefer to use ModDiff over using Better ModMismatch Window is due to reports of the latter having a few mod compatibility issues. (Specifically, I've read that the latter could cause a problem with "Save Our Ship 2 - Rimatomics Compatibility Patch".) Regardless, I know Better ModMismatch Window relies on the presence of a Manifest.xml file to check mod version, which not all mods use, meaning that it will treat such mods as having an unknown version.

Anyway, I'm sure the relative simplicity of this mod appeals to certain players. And, who knows: Perhaps that helps ensure compatibility with mods?

@Werradith_Toximble - Welp, I'm dumb. Didn't know that one existed!

Wow. I somehow missed that mod entirely.
It seems to have similar functionality, except it also supports checking mod versions if the mod uses Fluffy's Manifest.xml format.
Mine does not have that feature.
Welp. I guess there is a slightly different alternative now. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Thanks for pointing that out. :)

Thank you for this, not sure why something similar hasn't existed before now, or why it isn't part of the vanilla game.
