is there any way to disable the slow walking on the LB key? because I would like to assign "fast running" to the key, but every time I restart the game it removes the fast running, re-enables the slow walking, and doesn't let me assign fast running to the key anymore.

It is steam wrapper. Try deleting that file if it's there. I also recommend manually deleting SystemPack.vdf from the \Data\ folder if you always play with Union.
Maybe it will help.

Additionally, you can also try resetting the control settings to default in the game. For Gothic 1 it help in several cases. (with restart)

Believe me, i did this at the begginig. But problem is solved. I just restarted my PC :D

- Please make sure that the Steam Input System is disabled.
You can check this - RMB on the game > Controller > Disable Steam input system
- Open Gothic\System\Gothic.ini and set 'enableJoystick' to '0'

I think that my windows became crazy. I have the same issue on both games. In menu (main, in-game, dialogs etc) my pad skip always next position, and i can chose only 1, 3, 5... Also buttons are weird. Some buttons has 2 functions: "B" draw/hide weapon and open menu and "RB" move tabs in equpiment and also jump. Solution? Unscribe/subscribe mod, remove whole Gothic.ini. But after this, pad work correct only in one gameplay. On second time, i have do the same thing.

Hello, for anyone wondering about the problem with camera reversing while pressing JOY-LB and RB, here's my step-by-step solution:

1. In the "system" folder find Gothic.ini, within find a parameter ''ControlsFile'' and change its value to "Controls" (result: ControlsFile=Controls)

2. In the "system" folder create a text file (.txt) named "Controls". Paste the code below:

Тупа топ! Сейвы - удобно. Возможность вылезти из препятствия - удобно. Таргет цели - удобно. Есть только проблемы, что когда бьешь с правой на ходу, то камера начнет разворачиваться, что дезориентирует. Так же при отскоке назад персонаж может начать крутиться на месте.

I have serious problem with this mod. yesterday worked perfectly. Today this plugin is completelly mess. Some button work, some don't, some are in wrong place.

did some additional tests, from standstill it doesn't happend, only from forward movement to sudden backward movement and I also move a little sideways. If I get it straight, without goind sideways do hip dance. Controller is pretty new checked the axis and also calibrated it. everything is centered.

hello, sorry to disturb again, but I have a weird problem. When I am moving forward+right or left->diagonally forward everything is fine, but when I am moving trying to move backwards from standstill or sudden stop from forwarnd and try backward and if I slightly touch either left or right when moving backwards the hero does a weird hip movement and disturbs the block or backwards movement. Has anybody else encountered this problem and has a solution to this problem?
