It's because minecraft is launching in 32 bit mode, to fix this you have to disable it by deleting C:\Windows\System32

Just dev on 1.21.1, everyone uses it, it's the new 1.7.10 or 1.12.2 in modern day. I don't get why people dev mods for versions less player plays on.
